It’s time to move on from Dez

You're comparing horse shit and cow shit. They may look different, but both are still shit. That said, Rob Ryan was a worse coach than Garrett IMO

It’s time to move on from Dez

It really didn't come out of left field dip wad. The DC begged them to go get the guy. They had a board of players ranked and he was the top DB and top defensive player on their board. The trade up with the Rams also came at a virtual bargain that year too (only costing a 2nd to go from 14 to...

It’s time to move on from Dez

As a guy who watched a lot of SEC football, the above isn't exactly accurate. We can all be disappointed with how he turned out, but he was a great player at LSU and he made a ton of plays there for them. He had 5 picks one season and 6 the next. It was a virtual consensus that he was the top...

The 2018 Debacle as I see it

Vander Esch is going to be the MLB, they reported a few times this offseason that Smith is moving to strong OLB.

It’s time to move on from Dez

It was widely reported back then that Ryan was pushing hard for the Cowboys to sign Carr and go up and get Claiborne in the draft. Did he make the final decision on either? No, obviously not. Did he have an impact on how they ended up here, yes absolutely he did. He reportedly begged Jones and...

It’s time to move on from Dez

LOL at you for acting like Ryan was worth two shits at all. Dude was a stooge and a terrible defensive coordinator.

Jean-Jacques Taylor: What has impressed me about Cowboys coordinator Kris Richard

Supposedly there was disagreement between Carroll and Richard on how aggressive the scheme would be. I read Richard supported being more aggressive, and Carroll wanted to be more conservative going forward. He has a good track record for developing DB's there and their defense was near the top...

Jean-Jacques Taylor: What has impressed me about Cowboys coordinator Kris Richard

Define "priority" there. I tend to disagree with the crowd that thinks spending a premium pick or significant cap dollars on a fat, primarily run stuffing DT is a good idea. There are definitely other positions more critical IMO.

It’s time to move on from Dez

IIRC Carr and Claiborne were both gifts from Fat Rob for us

It’s time to move on from Dez

He still honestly believes he's a great coordinator, even though he failed miserably everywhere he went, save one fluke season.

It’s time to move on from Dez

Forgive me for not giving any credence to what arguably the worst defensive coordinator in the history of football thinks about any player, good or bad.

    Earl Thomas thread

Did you see anything in his play last yr that would suggest with further development and experience that he definitely CANT be a starting caliber FS? He's a little smaller than ideal and he needs experience, but he has some traits which makes me think he can probably handle the job if he works...

    Cole Beasley Is An IDIOT

He's been doing this for awhile now. I think he might be a twit, which is one of the reasons I wished we'd have gotten rid of him (and we still may)

Why did Dallas move on from Ryan Switzer so soon?

Crayton played mostly as a QB his SR yr in college, we drafted him with the intent of making him a fulltime WR: As a senior, he earned Little All-America second team and CSFL Offensive Player of the Year honors starting at quarterback while also handling kickoff returns, punt returns and...

The anomaly that left rookie DE Dorance Armstrong still on the board for Dallas in Round 4

I'm sure playing most of the season on a partially torn ACL had nothing to do it with it though, right?

Why did Dallas move on from Ryan Switzer so soon?

It wasn't Stanback I was thinking of (though he is another) It was Patrick Crayton. That said, not sure why some of you get tore up over someone having "position flex". All teams do it and almost have to because you only have 53 guys for your roster, and only 46 can be active on game day. You...

Cowboys are prepared to pay Dak Prescott what "he deserves"

He wont get 30 mils or anywhere near it unless he plays more like his rookie year. Not even sure why this is a topic for discussion now, they cant do anything until after he completed his 3rd yr.

Why did Dallas move on from Ryan Switzer so soon?

Maybe, although I can definitely tell you they took a college QB and moved him to WR. Bill Parcells did the same thing here in Dallas as well.

Why did Dallas move on from Ryan Switzer so soon?

That guys that wins all sorts of super bowls in new England likes position flex guys too. Just sayin
