The question must be asked on this manic Monday

Are you kidding? Sensabaugh is exactly the type of mediocre player we want to build this organization around. Next up, we'll sign Frank Walker to an extension. Hopefully follow that up with a hefty raise for Dave Campo. Commitment to Mediocrity

Rob Ryan should be fired tonite

Ouch. That stat along with the fact that in 8 of Garrett's last 9 losses we have blown 4th quarter leads is really leaving me very little faith in the immediate future of the franchise.

    David Arkin

My knock on Kowalski is that the same staff who thinks Costa is starter material also thinks Costa is ahead of Kowalski. I have very little faith in their evaluations the past few years. Costa is getting one-handed shoved out of plays and the staff still thinks "Yep, he's our best option at...

    David Arkin

Guards and Center hopefully. Kowalski should not just be annointed like Costa was.

Rob Ryan should be fired tonite

Not to excuse Ryan, because that was cleary a major screw-up, but what the Hell was Church doing going with the shortest route? Safety 101 is you go with the deepest guy.

Rob Ryan should be fired tonite

and not only do we bring them all back, we reward Sensabugh with an extension. Talent evaluation is our biggest issue.

    Day After Thoughts

Part of the problem, for me at least, is that our defense has very little heart. We don't have that guy who wills the defense to make plays. DeMarcus Ware, Jay Ratliff, and Sean Lee are VERY GOOD but are not emotional, fiery guys. What little attitude and swagger we have on D comes from Ryan but...

    Day After Thoughts

theebs is right, Austin ran the (variation of the) route wrong. I love Austin, and it's his first game back, but we needed him there. He was so wide open that if Romo has thrown it with more air, he could have ran under it, but he threw it where he expected Austin to be. Romo has very little...

Why does this continue to happen?

Thinking Jerry is not a huge part of the problem is beyond "silly". He has created this environment. Be a star, create buzz, and don't worry there's no real accountability. Unless of course you're a third-string RB. In that case, we will cut you tho show you who's boss. God help you if you have...

Cowboys and Sensabaugh nearing agreement on five-year, 22.5 million extension

This is exactly the report on Sensabaugh. I've been saying it for years. Overall, a criticism of Sensabaugh is that he doesn't have the cover skills to be a proper Free Safety. But, as a Strong Safety, he does not possess the demeanor or ability to be a big hitting strong safety in the box...

POLL- Do you think Jason Garrett will be the HC in 2012

The core of this team won't last 3 years and a new coach turnover. The only hope is a proven coach now. I don't think it will happen but it's the only chance Tony Romo, Jason Witten, DeMarcus Ware, and possibly even Jerry have at a championship in Dallas.

    2011 Season Game Threads Mega-Merge

This game hurt. We simply can not be counted on in the 4th quarter.

Cowboys and Sensabaugh nearing agreement on five-year, 22.5 million extension

I obviously hate this move but I am curious to see what some fans see in Sensabaugh. What about him makes you feel he was worthy of an extension. What about Gerald Sensabaugh makes you feel he "solidifies" the position? Sometimes I really think some of you would root for Bin Laden if he wore...

Cowboys and Sensabaugh nearing agreement on five-year, 22.5 million extension

Sensabaugh tested the market and got zero takers. There was no need to give him an extension at all. Mat McBriar, Laurent Robinson, a healthy Tony Fiametta, Abram Elam, and even Anthony Spencer are all much more deserving of new deals than Sensabaugh.

Cowboys and Sensabaugh nearing agreement on five-year, 22.5 million extension

You sign and draft better players. We have something like 14 pending free agents next year. There is no reason we can't sign 5 or 6 decent free agents (not superstars) that can start or contribute and add 2 impact players from the draft. Then fill the holes (last 4 or 5 roster spots) with the...

Cowboys and Sensabaugh nearing agreement on five-year, 22.5 million extension

Sensabaugh is awful in deep coverage. He has zero or bad instincts. He does well coming forward but any time he back pedals he is a weak spot. He has been in the NFL 7 years and a fulltime starter for 3 and he still makes bad decisions, taking false steps and God awful angles. This is a mistake.

Cowboys and Sensabaugh nearing agreement on five-year, 22.5 million extension

That...is....awful. Wow, every time I think Jerry's Level of Stupid has maxed out he goes and shoots way past it. 5-year deal? for Sensabaugh? Gerald Sensabaugh? Really? Really!

QBs likely to dominate early in NFL draft

Russell Wilson has to decide if he wants a baseball career or a NFL back-up QB career. It seems like a no-brainer but it's his dream to make the NFL. His father almost made the Chargers and Russell seems determined to make it. The thing is, despite his height, he could be a very good back-up...

Lakers wanted Kapono bad the year he came out. He went 1 pick higher and we were stuck with Luke Walton. My son idolized Kapono, he wore 24 and the headband to be like him. His three-point shooting? Not so much.
