I think the rule was applied correctly but see no fucking point for the rule to include plays like this.
If you're diving or sliding to make the catch, it makes sense. You're not geting any feet down and should have to hang onto the ball. Why extend that to these plays. Jump up for the ball...
That rule just fucking sucks.
Not even as a fan of the team, but as a football fan to see a major play come off the board because of this rule just sucks.
Shouldn't have went for 2.
Provided Dallas can score, a 2 Pt conversion has to follow. No worse than a pat if you fuck it up. Up by 3 if you're successful and only a TD beats you.
How does Murray fuck that play up?
Just a stroll to the endzone and he's holding the ball loose as all hell. Wasn't the biggest chop at a ball anyone has ever seen.
Anyone see the last Bama drive?
Caught pass, ball comes out and doesn't look like the runner was close to being down. Not a fumble, not an incomplete.
Completed pass with down by contact.
Well then it must be true.
CNN has an article that says the info supplied by that guy was obtained before he was tortured, and mentions other possible sources for that info that never underwent torturing.
