    2013 NFL Draft Thread

Went to Arizona State's practice this morning. Really impressed with DT Will Sutton (2014 draft). Rumors that he was sub 6 feet are false. Warren Sapp type DT. He won't be a top 10 pick because of his size (6'1", 280'ish) but should be a 1st rounder.

I didn't even see that the Raiders released him. I know they almost did late last season but they changed their mind last second and suspended him. Ravens just stole a player.

Merchandise sales reveal 49ers as most popular NFL team

The only thing that might possibly cause Jerra to make some changes. We didn't win the Merchandise Superbowl? Oh's no's....

Bales: Breaking Down the ‘Boys: Cowboys-Only Mock Draft, Version 1.0

Armstead is a tackle. If our 1st and 2nd round picks were Cooper and Armstead I'd pass out from joy. I'd also celebrate that Jerry was no longer in charge because that would be the only way we go O Line in the first 2 rounds. 3 small-school guys seems excessive. I'm not big on Randle or Logan...

    Romo extension close

even using your numbers, which I don't think will be what they actually end up being, creates about $4 million in cap room.

    Romo extension close

Romo's cap number this year is $11,500,000 base + $5,318,833 pro-rated restructuring bonus = $16,818,833 total cap hit. They key with the restructure is to bring down that $11.5M base, way down in Romo's case, to make cap room. For example, Ware's 2013 base was just reduced to $840k, Witten...

    Romo extension close

Romo's cap hit is currently $16,818,833. If the rumored numbers are true, it could look something like: Signing Bonus of $24M 2013 Base $6M + prorated bonus $6M = $12M cap hit in 2013 *frees up $4,818,833 in immediate cap room. ($24 M bonus + first year base of $6M = reported $30M guaranteed)...

    Raiders interested in Mike Jenkins

Can't wait to maybe get a compensatory pick for him in 2014. Good thing we held onto him. He was significant part of all the success we had last season. Plus, who needs an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick this year anyway?

Front Office Power Rankings: The NFL's best decision-makers

^ clearly BS. Those teams don't lead the league in merchandise sales nor do they have a Victoria's Secret in their stadium, IN THEIR STADIUM! Just another case of the media being out to get us.

Galloway- Romo should have taken one for team

I can't blame Romo at all. Jerry says insanely dumb stuff like "Romo don't need no offensive line", the team will not make many if any roster improvements outside of the draft, and the fan base puts a majority of the blame on Romo. I doubt I'd want to re-up for that either. Can't tell you how...
