    Noteworthy Cuts Thread

Jonathan Wilhite was released as well by the Pats...I am more interested in him as a 4th or 5th CB.

Cowboys to bring in more kickers? David Raynor?

I like bringing in Raynor...as soon as he was released I was interested. I did like what I saw of Bailey though.

Jerry Jones says Garrett is considering 'how are you playing right now?'

Gurode is trictly financial at this point. I think he is trying to do something with Gurode to help with the 2012 cap. As for Holland...since they gave him the 500K roster bonus they have to at least see if he has anything.

    Colts Sign Kerry Collins

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- The owner of the Indianapolis Colts says the team is bringing in veteran quarterback Kerry Collins to back up Peyton Manning. Owner Jim Irsay tweeted Wednesday that "We have agreed to terms with Kerry Collins...more details to come." The 38-year-old Collins retired in July...

Cowboys' Mario Butler shines in practice; Tony Romo can't produce in the clutch

It wil probably be McCann and Thomas...Thomas is a draft pick and they will want to keep him. I'd just like to see us hit on one of these CBs. McCann is a JAG and Butler may be too, but not sure yet.

Cowboys' Mario Butler shines in practice; Tony Romo can't produce in the clutch

Good to hear that Butler is coming along well. I could see this team carrying 6 CBs with Newman, Jenkins, Scandrick, Ball, Thomas, and Butler. With the health concerns over both starters I would be all for that. McCann as well...he slipped my mind, but he could be a part of the 6.

    Nagy Continues With First-Team Offense

I'll take Nagy starting...particularly if it is between him and Holland. Holland sticks out like a sore thumb now...he would be the only guy on the line who lacks any kind of agility.

    Nagy Continues With First-Team Offense

He looked like a throw away pick in the 7th, but he's been good. Something to be said for coming from a school like Wisconsin who knows how coach OL.

    Signing Shayne Graham

Vinatieri is an alltimer as far as kickers go...I could give two shits on his percentage, he made them when they counted. Akers was as well to a lesser extent. I did not know Nick Folk was such a hero around here.

Taylor "makes no plays" Mays traded to Bungles

The Niners are far from a mess, I fully believe that Harbaugh is going to be a huge success for them. It tells me something that he saw Mays as long as he did in the PAC 10 and got rid of him. Obviously if he thought he could play he would be there instead of Cincy.

    Signing Shayne Graham

2 seasons...big deal...I envy teams like Philly, NE, Indy, etc...that have kickers that they can count on for years.

    Signing Shayne Graham

Vanderjagt pretty much cursed this team...ever since his lame ass was signed years ago the kicker spot has been horrific.

Cowboys like rookie lineman Bill Nagy's progress

They have been looking for versatile interior lineman since they missed on Max Unger. Him and Costa certainly fit that bill.

Cowboys like rookie lineman Bill Nagy's progress

I think Nagy is pretty much a lock for the roster now. Props to the staff for keeping tabs on the guy...I mean had he not suffered an injury his Jr year you are looking at a legit C/G who wold have garnered much more attention. It also does not hurt that Garrett has connections with Chryst either.

Philly.com: Matthews may not be answer in the middle

I liked him coming out as well, but I thought he would be more of a special teams guy and eventually challenge as a starter. Also, I thought he was a better fit at ILB in a 3-4.

Philly.com: Matthews may not be answer in the middle

Not sure why they thought he could start right away anyways.

Cowboys to see familiarity in Chargers

Good test for the pass rush as well...he can't throw it if he is on his ass.
