    I'm sure that's true, but their O was even better with Barrett. With him, the offense just ran smoothly. He made proper reads, was accurate with his passes, and ran the zone read a lot and was a strong runner. Wasn't as much freelancing as with Jones.

    Let's be honest, this was going to happen even with a 9-7, no playoff season. Jerry schemed for years to have a coach he'd be totally comfortable with, and he wasn't going to get rid of him for anything short of an absolute disaster.
