    Jerry pumping up Escobar

Nah, there were all those stories about the "12"... We were copying Gronk/Hernandez.

    Week 4 vs The Saints

I'd be shocked if Tech didn't beat them this year.

    Jerry pumping up Escobar

Maybe, but in all seriousness, I have to think there's something more wrong with him that we think for him not to play more. We've seen that he can catch the ball, so he's either a worse blocker than we even realize, or he makes a bunch of mental mistakes, or something. Or maybe they really...

    Jerry pumping up Escobar

I can't believe you guys would suggest our coaches could be misusing a player.

    Obama being a dumbass again

I don't have a dog in the fight -- I'm not a gun guy, don't own one and probably never would (except maybe a shotgun to go bird hunting) -- but this morning I almost posted something similar to what mid said. I suspect our violent culture has a lot to do with it. Pretty sure euro kids aren't...

Harvard bean counters give Dallas only a 23% chance of making the playoffs

How does it look on 95% Seattle or 77% Miami? Meh, I still think it's better than 23% even with Romo hurt. Which BTW they couldn't have known about.

    2015 NFL Week #3: TNF | Atlanta Falcons (2-0) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-0)

He didn't say the defense was 100% to blame, absolutely zero blame anywhere else on the team... I thought that was sort of common sense. Nothing is ever 100% perfect or 100% to blame. Of course the INT was bad. And making offensive adjustments isn't on our backup QB.

    2015 NFL Week #3: TNF | Atlanta Falcons (2-0) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-0)

Aikman said this morning on his Ticket show Weeden wasn't to blame and he thought he played pretty well and did what the coaches asked. Troy put the loss more on the defense. Which seemed pretty obvious to me.

    2015 NFL Week #3: TNF | Atlanta Falcons (2-0) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-0)

You know what will probably happen this week, right.... Overcompensation and lots of shots downfield. We've seen it many times in the Garrett era, whether it be running it a ton after being criticized all week for not running or whatever. Probably cause some interceptions but we'll show that...

    Did we underrate Callahan?

No they don't... They have no reason to because he doesn't mess with them. You think he ever goes into Marinelli's office and tells him how to run his defense? :lol But he did mess with Callahan by all accounts. And I do think Fred struggled, which is very unusual. That's why I wonder if...

Gooselin, Fisher say C Michael time may be close

Totally agree. Use him like he was used in college, which is as a spread RB and pass catcher. He never played in anything resembling a power run offense in college and it makes sense he wouldn't be good at that because he isn't built for it. It's not like Michael would have made a bunch of...

    Did we underrate Callahan?

He wanted out because Garrett pissed him off so much. Who can blame him on that. And yeah, he's a great coach and we're going to miss him. It's not just putting in a system and running drills at practice, it's making little in-game adjustments to things the defense is doing. That's where we...

Gooselin, Fisher say C Michael time may be close

Randle was "great" but Freeman was "nothing special"? :lol UVA -- I don't know, I think Jerry loves McFadden too much to bench him. I just can't see it happening, not that it would hurt anything if they did. I'm so underwhelmed by both backs.

Gooselin, Fisher say C Michael time may be close

I don't have any doubt he'd help running the ball, I think the the concern is knowing pass protections. But Romo is already hurt, and who cares as much if he gets Weeden killed. And as messed up as it sounds, I have a feeling the brain trust doesn't know which RB they'd bench to play him...

    Anthony Hitchens

On that next-to-last (IIRC that was the one) walk-in TD by the Falcons straight up the gut, he almost voluntarily lets himself be escorted out of the hole. Maybe he was hurt or something but that was pitiful.
