    Thought

Oh yeah, I'd be shocked if he didn't start. At this point though, I'd say our best hope is for the Giants to watch too much of this tape the last couple weeks and overlook us. But the way they embarrassed themselves at the end of our first game works against that. Anyone heard anything about...

Garrett is completely useless without Romo

Also, dude, this is so hilarious. I was hoping when I saw this live that someone would gif it. Love the speed clap. I guess that's his 4th down, losing by 24 with a minute and a half to go clap.

Sturm: After horrible game, time to bench Brandon Weeden for Matt Cassel

Yep. And that's why Cassel will start next game. I do think Weeden has been sort of a convenient pinata the last couple games, though. People are so focused on him, they've sort of ignored how sub-par the rest of our team has been. Even including, yes, our legendary O-line. Maybe when...

AT&T Stadium design flaw costs Dallas a pick-6

That sun drives me berzerk, man. Why are stadiums built north/south? But Jerry couldn't do that because he had to have his palace more visible to all those people on I-30. Why can't they at least close those curtains like they had the first year? It's ridiculous.

    Who you got? Week 5

My official pick is still the Pats, but somehow I can see this happening. I have no idea why. Probably just that we seem to do so much better when people aren't telling us how great we and how we're going to win all week. Plus who knows, sometimes teams come off a bye a little rusty for the...

    2015 NFL Week #5: TNF | New England Patriots (3-0) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-2)

Which genius at Fox decided we had to have Cooper Manning playing comedian? We didn't have enough Mannings on our NFL TVs already?

    Does Jerry like Sean Payton

Yep, the story a couple of years ago when Sean was on his Bountygate suspension and his contract was expiring was that Jerry made contact with him. But when Sean told him the Saints were going to pay him 7 to 8 million, Jerry basically laughed and told him that he'd better go get him some of that.

Cassell to be active for Patriots game

Rodgers was at least a great talent many thought would be #1 overall and just fell for whatever reason. Young was an incredible talent everyone knew could play but was in the USFL, a situation which wouldn't and can't happen today. Brady was a guy the Pats had no idea would turn out the way he...

    Does Jerry like Sean Payton

:lol That would be awesome. But in a way I think he already has. I'm convinced Tony had a huge say in Jerry yanking Garrett's playcalling duties. Think about it, Jerry loves Tony and knows how valuable he is... That's the root of all the "Romo-friendly" talk. And for years Jerry had talked...

Cassell to be active for Patriots game

I don't think that's even up to Garrett. It's not like he's running the draft room, as anyone who watches the war room cam can see. And Jerry doesn't want to waste a high pick on a QB when you could use it on a player who could help in this tiny window Tony has left. Maybe that's the smart...

Cassell to be active for Patriots game

You don't have to worry about that. He's just a cheap backup and they know it. Besides, Tony should play for a few more years. Post-Romo is the last thing on anyone's mind. When Tony's done we're going to suck for a few years minimum -- just have to hope that doesn't happen for a while.

    2015 NFL Week #5: TNF | New England Patriots (3-0) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-2)

I'm thinking the same. Linehan seemed to think the best chance against an average to bad team was to limit mistakes. Maybe he'll think against a better team that scores a lot, our only chance is to try to outscore them. Sort of like how Parcells took all the wraps off that game against the...

    Does Jerry like Sean Payton

No chance. We're stuck for at least three more years, probably longer than that. Just have to hope Romo can carry this thing on his back even with no real help from his head coach.

    Vols Jalen Hurd, RB

Don't know that much about him, but I like the idea. We need a back who's physical. Those of you who have studied it, how does Hurd compare to Matt Jones? Because that guy looks good, exactly like what we need. (Actually I bet Jerry is already wondering if Chubb's nasty injury means...

Whens the last time the Cowboys traded a player and received a draft pick

That's right, Lissemore. Who is, or was, playing a lot in San Diego. When we were having such DL problems I couldn't believe we couldn't have used him.
