Love how Garrett comes on his PCs after losses and almost with a smile in his voice talks about penalties and negative plays getting us "behind the chains", which makes it hard to get first downs. As if the penalties and screwups...

    No doubt... No way at halftime I'd have thought we'd lose by 11. Absolutely no way. I do think the Falcons are a pretty good team, though, and not every team has a good QB and Julio Jones. Now if our defense goes full 2012 again, I take it all back. We do have to stop someone sometime.

    You know, this is counter to our power running offense from last year, but I wonder if they might consider doing what they did at Okie State and just put him in the gun in the spread and let him find the open guy. Just snap it and let him get the ball out of his hand quickly. Same type offense...

    Exactly. I watch the games more dispassionately than I used to, but the one thing that really pisses me off is watching our run defense get gashed all day, especially by average OLs. Absolutely shouldn't happen and it's simply unacceptable.

    I loved how at timeouts and even during play, Romo was out there in his sling on the sideline right next to Garrett, like he was the coach. Tony knows who is really responsible for any success this team has. :lol

    I think it was totally the game plan to run everyone off deep and then hit Dunbar and Witten underneath, just like worked so well in the first half. If you look at Cleveland, there are plenty of highlights out there of Weeden throwing bombs to Gordon, so it's not that he can't or won't go deep...

    Sturm is okay, he at least makes an effort, but I'm starting to think he's one of the most overrated "geniuses" anywhere. Weeden threw the one bad pick, but he wasn't the reason we lost. I think he pretty much executed the game plan the coaches wanted, which was for him to play it pretty safe...
