    Who you got? Week 7

Yeah, I didn't realize how beat up they were. Meanwhile we're 100% healthy on defense except for Scandrick, which was never that huge a loss. Won't change my vote but we probably should win this even without Romo.

Why the Cowboys miss Bill Callahan this season

There's no doubt it was pure hubris. Steve thought he could put anyone back there. Plus it seems like we were all full up with pet cats: Jerry was bragging last year that Randle could have done the same thing as Murray if he had the chance. We know he's always had a crush on McFadden. And...

    2015 NFL Week #7: TNF | Dallas Cowboys (2-3) @ New York Giants (3-3)

Wonder if the Niners' gm still thinks 500 coaches can coach that team as well as Harbaugh...

NFL's pink October does not raise much money for cancer research

It was always mostly a marketing device to attract women viewers anyway.

    PHI VS NYG

I think he knows the history of those 400 carry backs and is pacing him. I also think Gruden was absolutely correct tonight that this shotgun offset offense doesn't suit him at all. He needs to be going more downhill. Personally, I think Matthews is just about as good as Murray anyway.

Why the Cowboys miss Bill Callahan this season

Callahan's beef was with Garrett, not Jerry. Callahan was Jerry's boy. It was probably his idea to hire Callahan in in the first place.

2015 NFL Week #6: Early & Late Games

Geez, Wash marching right down the field. Now a TD. I walked out of the room when that pass on their first series was short of the first down. Then I came back and they still had the ball. Did they give him an incredibly great spot, or was there a penalty, or what? Never mind, I guess they...

Where are all of our Takeaways?

I always thought Jerry wanted it more visible to all the people on I-30, which runs basically east-west. Can build a billion dollar monument to yourself and then have all those people just look at one end. Didn't think of it until now, but I bet he also didn't want the sun washing out one side...

Garrett is completely useless without Romo

It really felt, to me anyway, like Stephen Jones was stubbornly trying to prove a point. Which is incredible arrogance and yes, malpractice. I guess we should be used to that by now, but it still stinks.

Where are all of our Takeaways?

Two things: One, takeaways are extremely variable from year to year. Nobody has figured out how to teach taking the ball away year after year. And two, we're playing a tremendous amount of man to man. And that means fewer eyes on the ball. Marinelli would probably like to play more zone...

Garrett is completely useless without Romo

In that prediction thread, the vast majority of us predicted great things this year. So are we really that negative anyway? Jerry still pisses me off, and I think his pool boy Garrett sucks. But the rest of the team is very solid, or should be. And Tony is much better than solid. When he...

    Hardy

May have posted this already, but on the postgame show last week -- I guess they were looking for anything positive to talk about after that game -- Ben Rogers said he saw Jerry and Hardy being extremely chummy in the locker room, laughing and backslapping like they were best buds. Also said he...

Garrett is completely useless without Romo

Seems like I remember that, too. Something along the lines of everybody knows we have great depth at corner and if you say otherwise you're basically being a hater. I think our secondary has proven it's the weakest part of our defense and maybe our whole team. Carr and Claiborne have been...

Garrett is completely useless without Romo

I just don't see where wanting a team to win yet being objective about their players or management are incompatible at all. Doesn't mean you're miserable, you want them to lose, you hate life, or any of that nonsense. It just means you're judging them fairly. No reason you can't do both.

That doesn't mean anything. Everyone has beaten the Saints... Well, except one team.

    NYG VS PHI

I think we better hope Philly wins. To me, the only real threat to our winning the division is the Giants running away with it.

    Injury thread

I wonder if it really was a Jones fracture. I suspect the DMN reported that based on it being a fifth metatarsal break, but not every one of those is a Jones fracture. It depends on where the fracture is. If it were, I doubt he could be coming back this soon. Or at least it wouldn't be smart...
