    This makes me sick. Hoyer is one of the worst starting QBs I've ever seen. Tiny with a tiny arm -- only thing he can possibly claim to have is some "moxie" or toughness or whatever. But he's horrible. And on top of that he seems to think he's good and almost has a little entitlement to him...

    First thought when I woke up and heard this: I bet at least part of Jerry, maybe all of him, is relieved. Now he doesn't even have to worry about the pressure of taking or not taking a QB. I doubt he ever really wanted to anyway.

    That's true for most positions but it's not true for QBs. Usually the guys who turn out to be true franchise QBs go at the top of the draft. A Cook or a Hackenberg would be a complete waste of a pick to me unless you're only looking for a stopgap backup to Tony.
