    Anyone into mountain biking?

I bought a very nice one, a Bianchi, a few years ago while overseas. Bianchi are overpriced in the U.S., I think. A downside of having a nice bike is that I don't feel like it is safe to leave it locked up somewhere outside (such as riding it to the gym and leaving it outside for an hour)...

Who do you want returning punts?

I'm one of those who sees returns as risky. I favor the Deion Sanders plan ... let the star return the punt in important game situations ... and have your more expendable (but less dynamic) return guy handle the other punt returns. Only very rarely would I want to see Dez or Claiborne...

Jerry Jones: I decide when windows close

Jerry babbles. It is a mistake to attempt to extract much meaning from anything he says. Does he even know what he means? Half the time, probably not.

FWST: Are the Cowboys losing an entire generation of fans?

You supplied data from May 2012. The Cowboys didn't have anyone in the top 10. Here's an honest question. I don't know the answer, so that's why I'm asking it -- What were the Cowboys jersey sales before May 2012? What are the trends over the past several decades? Is the Cowboys'...

FWST: Are the Cowboys losing an entire generation of fans?

Was that Jerry Jones, Johnnie Walker, or Jim Beam?

FWST: Are the Cowboys losing an entire generation of fans?

Becoming less popular isn't the worst thing. Dwindling merchandise and ticket sales get Jerry's attention. Some say Jerry hired Parcells because Jerry wanted the stadium built. I think that at that moment, deep down, Jerry knew that he didn't know what he was doing with his franchise and...

Tony Romo: Young WRs have to 'work their butt off'

Pretty much. They have a couple of good players but mostly they are a dull team. I was disappointed when they let David Garrard go. He had a decent 2010. A QB rating in the low 90's and made the Pro Bowl. Not a great QB, but not bad either. They were entertaining at times that year despite...

Tony Romo: Young WRs have to 'work their butt off'

I would shut up about it, except I earned my familiarity with Sims-Walker. The network directs Jaguars and Falcons games to my otherwise desirable town. Sometimes I have little more to do than to actually watch some Jaguars games. Sad but true.

Sturm: The Lost Years on the Cowboys roster

If Jerry had not done the Roy Williams deal and instead drafted a couple of solid contributing players ... with that change alone, this team would be a lot closer to contention right now.

Sturm: The Lost Years on the Cowboys roster

Yeah, I think the article is generally persuasive. However, here's what I don't find persuasive. Sturm talks about current players acquired from '07-'10 and says: "This group must be the absolute core of your squad. Look around the league and this is players (sic) who are in the prime of...

Eatman: Jenkins For WR Sounds Appealing

I don't know Fitzgerald's contract situation ... so I don't know if it makes sense cap-wise, but clearly he'd be an important addition to the team. And no need to limit this to WRs. A trade that brought in a good fit at Guard, Center, or Safety would be worth considering too.

Should Jerry Jones step down as GM?

Take a photo of any man who is 45 or older, then compare that picture to one taken about 15-20 years later, and the second one isn't going to look as good as the first one. That's life. Jerry has spent many years surrounding himself with football guys and trying to learn all that they know...

Tony Romo: Young WRs have to 'work their butt off'

He had injury issues last year (knee). I saw several Jaguar games the year before last and he was pretty good.

Tony Romo: Young WRs have to 'work their butt off'

His last name was Walker (his mother's last name, apparently). Then in 2009 he changed his name, adding the Sims, to honor his father (whose last name was Sims) after his father died of cancer.

Garrett Says Cowboys Won't Trade Jenkins

It also depends on what the Colts are offering. The Cowboys are contenders for the playoffs. The same can be said for over half of the teams in this league.

If he's healthy, Sims-Walker would be a decent pickup. Reports are that the Texans are thinking about signing him.

Jerry Jones must get his QB help for the Cowboys to be Super Bowl contenders

I agree with the overall sentiment, but IMO the Cowboys spent the offseason not doing enough to improve the middle of the line. Romo is an above average QB who is good enough to win big in this league if provided adequate support on offense. Without that support, Romo plays on the outside edge...
