On our way to 8-8 next year....

I do think we have the talent to win it all. Why don't we? We did last year and we haven't lost anything of significance from last year. We still have the most talented OL, a great RB, and good enough WRs. Our defense isn't as talented, but it still has guys like Lee and Lawrence. Look...

    Who you got? Week 16

I think Gurley going off is actually a negative for us this game. I think they'll be massively motivated not to let that happen again. If I'm playing a pretty good team, I'd rather they weren't coming off an embarrassing loss.

But to be fair, that doesn't include a 55 yard penalty that could/should have cost us a win... I do think Awuzie looks really good. I think he'll be at least solid and probably better for years. Not so sold on Lewis.

    Who you got? Week 16

Dallas, because I'm a good fan. But I feel less certain about this than the last three weeks, no doubt about it. We're coming off facing three dogs. They're coming off facing two of the best teams in all of football.

Ben Rogers publicly calls for Garrett firing

Same way hanging around Lebron James wouldn't make you a great basketball player or around Stephen Hawking wouldn't make you a great astrophysicist. You either have it or you don't, and Garrett doesn't. He just has the superficial PR qualities that fooled some people into thinking he did.

Ben Rogers publicly calls for Garrett firing

Right, not that Norv has zero spine, I just think those other guys have more. Also, that little blurb just shows how absurdly infatuated with Garrett Jerry was. Red's entire resume was being a QB coach for two whole years, but Jerry still wanted him calling plays over an established very...

Ben Rogers publicly calls for Garrett firing

Funny, I think Norv would be the most pliable of those three. And he's the most familiar. So he'd be the guy. Also, LOL at Ruth's-Boy. You're right, we better keep Garrett another eight years. Hard to upgrade from someone as great as him.

    XFL to return

Amen. For at least a couple of years, I loved the USFL. Would love to see it make a return somehow. Unfortunately, McMahon's circus would probably be the opposite, more like a Jerry Jones type league.

Did anyone ever hear any more detail about that? Wonder how bad it is. He was at least standing on the sideline watching. I hope he's not another incredible talent wasted for this team. Just more proof you can't spend a decade "building." Great players don't last forever.

I thought the exact same thing. I actually was out jogging and listening to the game. The announcers (national, not Sham and Laufenberg) didn't think it was a first down, and when one of them mentioned the folded paper, I thought he was kidding. When I got back and watched the video I...

Running list of Jason Garrett embarrassing records and stats

That is an awesome graphic. Really puts things in perspective. Thing is, you could flip it over if the caption said these teams have made their owner richer in the last 20 years. Which is what Jerry cares about.

    2017 Week 15 NFL Thread

Nope. The Skins at least started out as a pretty good team but injuries wrecked them. The Giants have been a disaster all year. (And the Raiders aren't a lot better, plus it looks like Cooper won't play.) And there's no doubt everyone is thinking what Dooms says above: We get Zeke back and...
