Hopefully the Eagles win today and completely shut the door on the playoffs for us. Maybe then we will see some of these youngins get some playing time
We need to see what we have in Moffah, Blue and a few others. Plus Milton needs the reps.
If Jeruh plays Dak “after” we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs he deserves to have Dak get injured and miss the start of next season.

It would be nice if we could get Al Harris back
When he was here he coached Diggs who led the league in INT’s
Bland who led the league in pick sixes, not only that, but set the all time NFL single season record for pick sixes
And now he is with da Bears and Nashon Wright leads the league in forced turnovers
While Al was here coaching for us the Cowboys had the most turnovers for 2 years.
Then Al goes to the Bears and now THEY lead the league in turnovers.
Al knows how to coach em up and get the most out of his guys

Yep, this is a great synopsis of the entire season of defensive SCHEME failure. He's the worst defensive coordinator in the league and it's not even close. I think he's been so bad that he's worth 3 or 4 losses BY HIMSELF.
I've mentioned it a few times this yr, the whole scheme is bad but what's REALLY bad is the pass coverage inside the 20, it's even worse inside the 10. I've never seen so many WIDE OPEN tds thrown down in that area of the field in my entire life. Week after week after week it's the same.
They added the biggest suckass coach they could find as a defensive coordinator, and it 100% cost them a playoff spot this year.

He wasn't a one hit wonder. He was really good as a rookie, had an all worldyr his 2nd yr in the league and then the following yr saw all his coverage metrics improve even more, but throws on him went way down because of his ball hawking ability. He got his well deserved contract extension in between week 2 and 3 in 2023 and wrecked his knee just a few days later. He hasn't been the same sense.
It's not his fault he's had two devastating knee injuries in back to back seasons. Considering our track record for 2nd rd pick futility Diggs was actually a homerun 2nd rd pick for us.

They're playing Dak, Schottenheimer said they'd be making every effort to win these last 3 games.
I do think Milton should get some time though, we need to see if the year in the system has "helped" him from where he was in camp/early preseason.
I think it's time for you to realize Blue was a completely wasted pick. The coaches hate him. I doubt he gets activated.

I'm sure he's had an impact on the Bears DBs some, but don't forget he coached Nashon Wright here and got nothing out of him then. Dude was a complete bust.
The Bears improvement in defense has a lot more to do with Dennis Allen than Al Harris I think.
That said, it seems a lot of people who cover the NFL think Harris may finally get some interest as a defensive coordinator candidate. I just don't know if it will be here. The murmurs from all the people who covered the team is while Diggs and Bland really liked Harris, not many others in the building did (mainly the coaches)
