I think Vance or Rubio will definitely have a role for him in their administration though.

He messed up his Presidential chances this last cycle but he's an awesome Governor. Nobody even close to being as good as him currently.

I still think DeSantis would make the best president of all of them. The guys does everything well. He handles the media better than Trump. He is always prepared with the facts and he is a really smart guy. His politics are almost perfect on most issues.

Love the guy and I was a big supporter.

But for a guy that's obviously smart, he got some painfully stupid advice and took it. He surrounded himself with some really ignorant people and that in itself is a concern. He should have had private convos with Trump before pulling the trigger on anything to ensure they were aligned, and he didn't.

Trump has shown he will forgive and forget on some things so there is still hope, but had DeSantis handled this properly from day one he'd either be the President now, the VP or some other really high ranking role in the Trump administration.

All that said, I do think he'll have a role in the upcoming administration. But he almost assuredly isn't going to win a primary against Vance or Rubio at this point.
