So, he got his cash and wanted to suffer two major injuries?
All of his post 1st injury performance has been poor. I told you a while back that this would ultimately be how he'd be remembered.
It's your site and you got your opinion so it's all good there BullDog.

Roll Tide anyway.

It stinks, but they were right to resign him when they did and he had earned it.

I can live with these "mistakes", there's no real way to avoid them or get it right 100% of the time. Nobody can predict future injuries. The only "fix" for that is to 100% avoid contract extensions, in which case you will assuredly never improve a team.

What they need to avoid is the really bad contract extensions and/or overpays for people like Prescott, Zeke, Jaylon Smith (who was a MAJOR risk because of his previous injury) etc etc

Yes.
Pre and post injury contracts are a huge difference.
Jerry does especially poorly "rewarding" players with 2nd contracts/extensions AFTER having sustained major injuries.

It's his personal GM affirmation clause of IF I pay them this much even though theyve had a career performance threatening type injury, they'll play better.
Sad but true.
But that's what he believes.
Look no further than Prescott as his prime example.

Not feeling very good about tonight.

Our defense will probably accommodate JJ McCarthy into the best game of his young (and mediocre) career. He's completing less than 60% of passes, averages a paltry 6 yds per completion and has more ints than tds. I bet he throws for 275+ and 3 tds tonight.

If the Cowboys OT's play like they did v Detroit Prescott might not survive the entire game.

Vikes 27-20

This is lame dude.

He didn't suffer two major injuries because he "got paid", nor did he fake those injuries.

He hasn't been the same since the first one and by many accounts the 2nd knee injury was a worse situation for him.

Dude was a great player before he got hurt. Could he be a more physical tackler? Sure. But was he a tremendous ball hawk and pass defender, absolutely.

Dude “was” a great player. Got paid. Got hurt. Hasn’t been the same since!

You want a player around that can’t stay on the field? Especially one that is being paid like one of the top at his position in the league?

I don’t!

Plus he has no heart

Completely unprofessional too. Can't rely on people like him...

Diggs’ road to recovery has been a rocky one in more ways than one. Back in October, as Diggs was continuing to work his way back from a knee injury, he suffered a concussion in his home, landing him on IR. Even further back, in the offseason, the Cowboys fined Diggs $500K for “failing to meet workout participation requirements at the team’s headquarters.”

Nobody is disputing any of this TODAY.

The point I made is at the time we re-signed him, he was one of the absolute best in the league and had earned it. I don't know what happened after the two injuries but clearly this coaching staff seems done with him.

Having to play in Eberflus' retarded scheme didn't do him any favors though. Same for Bland.

Micah Parsons dominating v Denver. 1 tackle in the first half. No sacks, no QB knockdowns.

But he did get credit for his 1st pass defensed of the season.

Didnt watch it but apparently a great game (with very little defense played)

Buffalo comes back from 21-0 and 24-7 deficits to win.
