This should be a good one. Dallas has been clicking lately. Dak's been more on than not. Javonte Williams has slowed, but because of game script, not lesser production. Lamb, Pickens, Ferguson...all rocking it. Then there's the defense. Still not to standard, but worlds better than earlier this year.
Detroit's no slouch, though. While Amon-Ra St. Brown likely will be out, Jameson Williams is underrated. Jahmyr Gibbs, that kid is something. He needs to be hit hard and fast, otherwise he's gone. Their defense is no slouch, though injuries have weakened them.
So who wins this game? I'm going to try something I normally avoid here: optimism. Cowboys win an unusually good Thursday game, 27-24.

Love your optimism. This game is the game that will show who we really are. I am still not sold on this team quite yet. I am happy we are on this little winning streak but remain skeptical. This is going to be a tough game. Detroit is on the ropes just like we are. This is a playoff game. We have the talent to win but do we have the coaching? Winning in Detroit on Thursday night could arguably be the biggest win we have had in recent history. A win would put us on the map in the NFL and serve notice to everyone. A loss does absolutely nothing but show we really haven’t made the strides needed. A loss completely wipes out the good feeling of this mini winning streak and all but assures not making the playoffs this year. Just pray that Shoddy and Eberflus don’t make any boneheaded coaching decisions.

I don't like those odds. So am I reading that right that even if we win out we still need help?
Yes, but as noted previously it is EXTREMELY rare for an 11 win team to miss the playoffs.

I think if we win out we'll be in whether it's as division winner or 6th/7th WC slot.

thank you for posting

i love the qb stat lines

18-25 190 yds 3 td

5-13 30 yds 2 int

and of course, the dexter coakley highlights
I made one error though. It was actually our second visit to Ford Field, having lost a 9-7 shootout there the previous season in the death throes of the Campo era.
