This team is soft as wet toilet paper and no addition(s) will make a bit of difference. Not one. The season is lost and we gave up a potential top 10 pick for a 2 year player. I can't hate Jerry enough. I simply can't.

The 1st rd pick is in 2027. With all the cap room and two 1st rd picks for next yr, we can quite possibly improve a decent amount. It's highly unlikely we do anything this yr but developing the young talent we do have and getting some of the rehab guys back healthy, getting some experience and getting ready for next yr will be the key.

Unless Williams is a complete bust, there's no way he'll only be here two years. They'll redo his deal and add a couple years to it and lower his cap charges.

I know it's in 2027. What the hell makes you think this team will be any different next year than this year? What world are you living in?

My 2025 season is probably over. Time for me to start dreaming about 2026.

Right now we have picks 14 and 24 in April and probably will have 30-40 million or more in cap space.

I also still buy a lotto ticket every once in awhile. I know it's a 99.99999999988899997999 likelihood I'll never win, but I keep doing it.

Basically the same thing with this team.

Like always (and like every team) we have to hit in the draft. Like every team, we need to always find cheap young players to be able to keep George Pickens, Kenny Clark, and Quinnen Williams. etc.

IMHO, the NFLPA needs to figure out a better way. I have never liked free agency. I don't have a problem with paying players, but free agency sucks.

What if players get a significantly bigger piece of the pie, but they have to stay with the team that drafted them unless traded? Salary ranges for each position could be determined by the NFLPA. For example, starting QBs make X amount, backup QBs make X amount.
