2025 Week Eight: Dallas Cowboys vs Denver Broncos

Exactly what we didnt need. 3 and out after getting to 2nd and 1. Pathetic.

Denver offense is AVERAGING nearly a 1st down every play.

Most points Denver had in any games was the 33 they got last week, and ALL of that was in the 4th qtr. Thats the only game they have had more than 28 all yr.

They are probably going to score again before halftime here and be close to that.

Absolutely pathetic first half of football. Was supposed to be a potential "statement" game, and instead they are getting completely run off the field.

Prescott throws a horrible pick on a play where the guy was never open, all they need was another 10 yrds to at least get a FG chance.

Fitting end to a lousy half of football. Bottom line is this defense gives them zero chance to win.

They've given up 27 pts, nearly 270 yards, the defense has been so pathetic on 1st and 2nd down that Denver has only THREE 3rd down attempts in the game. They are giving up nearly 8 yds per rush and nearly 10 yds per pass, they have no sacks (or even a QB knockdown)

Eberflus is the worst defensive coach that has ever walked our sideline.

I haven't been on here in a while. Can someone remind me of all the things that that Prescott brings to this team (his leadership, his ability to get the offense in the right play, his supposed accuracy, and so forth) while ignoring what his salary cap hit takes away from the team?

After every win against teams that have poor quarterback play, I have to hear Brian Broaddus and his sidekick, On 105.3 the fan, talk about how Dak Prescott is this and that and they never want to talk about the salary cap hit and how that prevents even the greatest GM in the history of the NFL from signing players and making moves.

Instead, Brian Broaddus tries to convince listeners that "it's not Dak's fault for making what he makes". It's like Jerry Jones had a gun pointed to Dak's head and told him, "You will make this amount of money."

Unfortunately, what this team needs to improve is not readily available via trade. So, we can kiss this season goodbye. Our only hope is for Daniels to continue to get hurt (miss the year), for Jaylen Hurts to get hurt, and for Jaxson Dart to get hurt.

How would you make our DTs better? What would you call? What scheme would you use? I have no idea how to make out front 7 better through play calling or scheme. I just see players who suck hard.
