I'm back bitches.......I figured I'd resurrect the thread because that's how I roll. Now don't get me wrong, the D was the main culprit. But, as usual, we need him to carry the team and at least make a bit of a game out of it and it ain't happening.

If they had only paid him more, I’m sure that would have brought it out of him

No points from the middle of the 2Q on is a fucking disgrace, Lamb or no Lamb. They weren't facing the '85 Bears.

When things aren't going well, he goes in a shell and is afraid to make mistakes. So he dink and dunks the team into oblivion.

Turpin addressed some of the dink and dunk stuff, but then also qualified it as saying "we still have to make plays"

Not having a TE that can really stretch the seams hurts when they see defenses playing the way the Bears did yesterday. Ferguson for whatever reason just doesn't do that much and the Bears happily let him catch all those 4-6 yd passes. It's probably fair to label Schoonmaker a wasted pick now. Spann-Ford they may need to try and incorporate more.

Turpin did have a couple of downfield plays, this is also something they need to do more of.

And people are forgetting that the Bears were playing without four starters on defense, including one of the top 5 cornerbacks in the league in Jaylon Johnson and top nickel corner in the NFL. Yet we couldn't get anything going.

Troy Aikman on
@dfwticket
on Dak Prescott: “I have been impressed with Dak, certainly Week 1 and what he was able to do and then this last game. He’s always had good energy. He’s always had good body language and all that on the field. But in addition to just how well he’s played, I just sense that there’s a confidence about him in the way in which he’s playing that I don’t want to say I haven’t seen it before, but I just feel like he’s really dialed in and feeling good about where this offense is going, the way that it’s playing, and the way he’s playing. And usually, to have that, you feel really good about the plays that are coming in and who’s calling them. It just seems to be a pretty good fit right now for Dak and what I’ve seen just as a casual observer. “… I love Dak. There’s nothing I’d rather see than see him go on and win a Super Bowl and win multiple Super Bowls, and win more than me, and Roger (Staubach) and all of us combined, if possible, because he’s that type of guy, and he represents himself and the organization, and really our city so well.”

Pablum.

He talks about everything... but... the last game.

Someone needs to tell Dak that when he's in the shotgun that fading back even more after the ball is snapped is total horseshit. The whole concept of the shotgun is to eliminate the time of fading back and to fire the quick release. Nobody ever addresses this huge flaw that Dak has in the shotgun. I dunno, I'm drunk....

I didnt forget Amigo.

And that same defense gave up 52 pts the week before.

The first two turnovers cost us some points for sure and we lost 7 pts when Dak decided it was better to pass (twice) from the 1 fucking yd line instead of handing off to Williams. Still, wasn't the kind of effort offensively we needed.

Pretty much every QB at every level does this. For some reason it's taught that way now too.
