LSU and my Dawgs had similar "look past the cupcake" days yesterday too.

Clemson was behind at home 16-0 to Troy before coming back to win.

I don't get the massive hype over this Michigan QB Underwood. You'd think he was the 2nd coming or something the way the networks have been slobbering all over him. He was beyond horrendous last night. Doesnt even look like a legit college starter to me, let alone the future 10 time MVP of the NFL.

Kinda like the OU QB Mateer, def worth watching how he develops.

Ditto w/Penn State. Only they slept for most of the 1st half vs a "cupcake opponent". They have some hiccups to take care of as well before they play powerhouses like Oregon & Ohio State. (PS & OS are rivals like Dallas & Philly) Loathe OS!
Crazy how they won the National Championship & Eagles the Superbowl.

What's crazier? Both the Cowboys & Longhorns season openers were against the best from last season. Ohio State & Philadelphia.

What we learned yesterday:

1) My Dawgs got an amazing win in Knoxville, but cant play defense
2) Gators QB is one of the most overhyped 10 cent head QB's ever. 5 picks, and easily could have been 7 or 8
3) Notre Dame loses at home, and gives up 41 pts in the process. They don't play defense either.
4) Time for people to move on with the ridiculous Arch Manning hype, dude doesn't really even look like a draftable prospect, let alone the greatest #1 pick overall ever type prospect. Was absolutely putrid yesterday against a total nobody, at home. I think I read he had 11 straight incompletions at one point.
5) I have said it a few times now, but I think this OU transfer QB John Mateer is a very interesting prospct
6) Texas Tech is legit
7) Miami is legit
