If anyone tells you weed is harmless, you should look at Elon. Yes, he's the richest man in the world. But he ruined his credibility in a fit of rage and paranoia that I suspect is due to his drug use. Reports are out this morning that Trump will call Elon to try to reconcile but I'm not buying it. Elon is toast. There's no coming back when you accuse the President and a guy that pimped you as being a pedophile.

Tesla stock is down over 14% today. He's killed his brand and I don't think he can recover from yesterday. He had a seat next to the POTUS and he completely fucked it up. This is the self destructive behavior of a drug user and abuser. He needs rehab.

There was a report he was using heavy doses of ketamine (which he denied) but it was also around that time that he showed up with the black eye (I think he said his kid did it to him while playing)

Elon has a very solid point about the excess spending.

But he has officially gone off the reservation with this.

Just think about it. If Trump was somehow tarnished by what is in the Epstein files who doesn't believe the Democrats would have released it all during the election campaign when Biden was drooling in the debate or Kamala was drowning in her own stupidity? The Biden DOJ would have leaked something to the press and everyone knows it. I have no idea what Elon thinks he is doing but this comment is unbelievable.

I thought Elon was a big Ketamine user? In any case, the two of them look like fools for engaging in this social media skirmish. It's dumb and juvenile. Elon is right the sense that the bill Trump is pushing does not go far enough to cut spending. But, with such a slim majority in the house and senate this bill may be the best they can do for now. And the bill does contain a lot of stuff that is really good for America.

Trump probably should acknowledge the deficiencies in the bill as a good compromise and vow to continue to cut spending in some stand alone cost cutting bills.

These are two huge egos who will see both of them destroyed before either gives in.

The same report said the big blowup finally happened a week or two ago when Trump pulled the plug on the person Musk wanted for a role within the Space program (I think NASA but will try to find it)

That said, today I saw some headlines that Elon is backtracking some (late last night and early this morning) and is wanting the "feud" to end, but I haven't been on Twitter/X this morning yet.

It was NASA. Elon wanted his guy appointed to head up NASA. Trump found out the person was a Democrat and pulled the plug on it. This time around Trump is not taking any chances on appointments.

Trump is Trump. It is who he is and it should surprise no one. He's not going to get stabbed by Musk and just sit back. Musk is done; the President has to run the country and Musk just mouths off stupid shit like the Epstein thing. There's no coming back and this will blow over but the damage is done.

Steven Miller gives some solid insight on the Bill and why it should be passed. The Dems are going to attack it no matter what. They'd rather Trump fail than the country succeed. My bigger issue is with the RINO's like Massie. I mean, this guy voted for extending the debt ceiling under Biden but somehow he has a problem when "his" guy says he needs it and the public support it (because of Trump)? He's a bum.....Republicans may never get this opportunity again our lifetime where we hold all the levers of power. They suck and the party must continue to be gutted of these fools.

The line was crossed with the Epstein Tweet and the Impeachment "Like." And then to claim he only won the Presidency, Senate and Congress because of him (Musk) is another slap in the face. Outrageous statement for a guy that didn't jump on the MAGA wagon until after Butler, PA. Everything else was salvageable, including not agreeing with the BBB. I didn't believe for a second that there would be a call which was being reported and I mentioned it earlier. Trump doesn't take to this kind of stuff lightly. Elon is dead man walking to Trump and MAGA.

Trump overcame insurmountable (to others) obstacles to get to win the Presidency and he has to work with world leaders In China, Russia/Ukraine, Iran, etc. Add to that that he's dealing with RINO's who go out of their way to undermine the will of the people and now Trump has to deal with this Elon BS? It's just (more) needless fodder for the left.
