Jeez, hats off to Daboll for taking the Gianta to the next level after an 11 year playoff drought. He brought the best out of Danny Dimes. He was sharp throughout the game, completing 24 of 35 passes for 301 yards & two touchdowns, but it was about more than just his passing. He led the Giants in rushing, scrambling for extra yards when necessary & turning designed runs into positive gains.

I guess the rumors about whether or not they wanted to stick with Jones will stop. For the upset I had Baltimore over Cincinnati. You knew there was going to be one, but NOT the Giants/Vikings. Just goes to show, regular season win percentage doesn't mean squat. NY got hot at the right time. Hopefully they'll continue so right into Philly!

I wasn't surprised NYG won. The Vikes have a great record but a negative points differential. They arnt all that far off from being 4-13 or 5-12

Daboll should be coach of the year with Kyle Shanahan coming in 2nd.

My final prediction for tonight:

Tampa 31- Cowboys 10

We will score a TD sometime in the 4th qtr.

Prescott will have at least two turnovers.

Brady will not be sacked and throw for close to 400 yards.

Interesting stat notes on Tampa. They finished dead last in rushing yards per game (76.9) and dead last in yards per attempt (3.4). They managed 100+ rush yards only 3 times in 17 games. On opening night vs us they had 152 rushing yards and Leonard Fournette had 127 (also his only 100+ rush yd game of the year)

WE SUCK

When I was watching the game I was thinking their defense looked exactly like ours.

And thats exactly what our defense looked like since the Vikings games. Many times looking like there was only 9 or 10 out there to defend 11.

Well shit

Looks like we are going to get the Niners next week (instead of in the Championship game) after we beat the Bucs tomorrow.
I'd recommend laying off heavy drinking before posting Scot

100%. Daniel Jones just kept drives alive running and passing and left it on the field. They played with a sense of urgency. We'll see what tomorrow brings.....

And I'd rather go to SF than Philly. First because of the weather and second because of the rookie QB....
We arnt winning tonight so it wont matter, but we have about as close to zero % chance of beating the Niners as there is.

That defense would take Prescott and this OL apart, and defensively we can't even stop a team full of backups playing for nothing, let alone the best coached offense in the league.

We wouldnt beat either team, but we can probably stay close to Philly. San Fran would beat the dogshit out of this pathetic, spineless team.

Ryan Jensen, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Pro Bowl center, is back in action.

On Monday, the Buccaneers activated Jensen from their injured reserve list, making him eligible to play later that evening in the team's Wild Card playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys. To make room on the 53-man roster, the Bucs waived inside linebacker J.J. Russell.

Jensen had been designated for return from I.R. on December 28, which opened a 21-day window in which he could practice with the team without counting against the active roster limit. He could be activated at any point during that window, which would have closed early next week. Jensen is the fifth player the Buccaneers have brought back from injured reserve this season, following the activations of tackle Josh Wells (Oct. 21), running back Giovani Bernard (Nov. 26), safety Logan Ryan (Dec. 5) and inside linebacker K.J. Britt (Dec. 10). Wells later returned to injured reserve.

Jensen suffered a knee injury on the second day of training camp and was placed on injured reserve on September 1. He last played in a game on January 23, 2022, when the Buccaneers faced the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round of last year's playoffs. Prior to his injury, Jensen had played in and started all 71 games, playoffs included, since joining the Buccaneers as an unrestricted free agent in 2018.

Jensen's return is fortuitously timed, as Tampa Bay's most pressing injury concerns for the Wild Card game are on the interior offensive line. Robert Hainsey, who stepped in after Jensen's injury and started all 17 regular season games at center, suffered a hamstring strain the previous weekend in Atlanta and has been limited in practice all week. Nick Leverett, who has started the past nine contests at left guard and was also the primary backup to Hainsey at center, is dealing with knee and shoulder ailments and did not practice on Thursday or Friday. John Molchon, a reserve option at both center and guard, sustained an ankle injury in Atlanta. Leverett is listed as doubtful to play on Monday night and both Hainsey and Molchon are questionable for the game.

Jensen earned his first Pro Bowl invitation last season after helping the Buccaneers allow the fewest sacks in the NFL while also racking up the most passing yards. He played his first four seasons for the Baltimore Ravens and has appeared in a total of 100 regular season games, starting 90 of them. After finishing his original four-year deal with the Buccaneers in 2021, Jensen remained with the team on a new three-year contract.

Russell joined the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis in May. He spent most of the season on the practice squad but has appeared in six games.

The Buccaneers and Cowboys kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Monday night at Raymond James Stadium, capping the first week of the NFL's 2022 playoffs.

Indeed.

In spite of our overall shitty level of play, the Parsons non-holding call garbage is just completely corrupt.

So if we win tonight, we'll be getting back to Dallas around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning, practice a few days, then get on a plane to Frisco on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Niners sit tight and have 8 days to prepare. A loss is pretty much baked into the cake. They might as well overshoot Dallas, fly to Cali and train there.

More reason why having a playoff game on MNF is even more ridiculous.

Goodell is a fucking moron.

Shanana is an awesome coach. If memory serves me correctly, it took him only 4 years after SF hired him to take them to the SB. This is the 2nd consecutive year SF started off slow only to get hot at the right time again. And it doesn't matter who his quarterback is.

You're killing me....you of all people, the most homerish guy on the board. And you talk about someone hacking my account?

I'm not gonna lie. I'm depressed. I know the NFC is wide open but you guys have me feeling like the wheels will fall of tonight. Danny Dimes carried the Giants from their first offensive possession last night. I'm not a fan of his but he just said fuck it, it's the playoffs and I'll do what it takes.

I'd love to see a blowout by Dallas tonight but I just might go to bed now and not even watch.....
