Should be a fairly easy stretch of games with the Colts and Texans at home and then at the Jaguars. We will be substantial favorites in all 3 games.

Simple question- will we sweep these 3 games or will we slip up and lose 1 (or more) of the 3 before a really tough closing schedule.

Bonus points for providing guess on which team (or teams) we lose to.

I'll start.

Yes I think we'll lose one of the three. My guess is it will be Jacksonville but Indy has played much better since Saturday took over as HC and they went back to showcasing RB Jonathan Taylor. That game probably won't be a cakewalk. They beat the Raiders on the road and should have beaten Philly last weekend.

Agree. Jville is a team that can bite you in the ass any given Sunday. Colts on a short week for them with a QB that looks washed should be a win. Houston is god awful and dont see the Cowboys losing a game where they should be a double digit favorite.

And yet they got their first ever win against us. When we were a double digit favorite and they were a brand new expansion club.
Yeah, remind us again who the coach and QB were for that disaster.

I didn't say "any."
It's still a "Come on man"

There's also absolutely zero comparison between the talent on this roster vs the one we trotted out in 2002.

Houston's roster now might have LESS talent than that 2002 Houston team too.

Does that mean we CANT lose, no of course not. But this would be a mammoth shocker of the century type loss, that loss in 2002 was NOT that shocking. We were not a good team, were not well coached and had a fucking pea brained idiot for a QB.

Sure there is. In the hype, and the players believing the hype. The loss to Houston was a HUGE shocker in the sports world at large. We cynics weren't all that shocked.

Would you be shocked if Houston beats us this year?

It was only a shocker in the sense that Houston was an expansion team that had never played a game. They beat a Dallas team that didnt have much talent and was coming off back to back 5-11 seasons. That loss wasn't THAT shocking. I don't remember what the line was, but I doubt it was more than 9 or 10.

And yes, I'd be monumentally shocked if we lose to Houston next week. We will likely be a 13-15 pt favorite, barring a slew of injuries for us vs Indy.

There is absolutely no comparison between the talent level of the 2002 Cowboys vs the 2022 Cowboys and if you think it's close then there's just no help for you.

These are professional football players with a chance to bump off Dallas.

You seem to think there's a huge gulf between teams in the NFL. There's really not.

Weren't you monumentally shocked a couple times already this season? When y'all ever gonna learn?

I just checked and the initial line on the game is Dallas -14.5, assuming we win and have no major injuries this week it's safe to say that line will end up 16 or 17, which is enormous.

If we lose this game it will be one of the biggest NFL upsets there has been, especially in the regular season.

Dude I would not be shocked at all. Seriously, you would?
They're terrible and they've packed it in. I watched them play the Commanders and it was three hours of sheer boredom. I can see Dallas not covering the spread, but not outright losing.

We haven't played anyone as bad as Houston this year.

And while your comment about talent gaps between NFL teams in general is somewhat true, it's not true when comparing the really strong teams to the worst team in the league. Houston doesn't have much talent at all and is also very poorly coached.

Yep, they surrendered before the opening kickoff.

They know a massive overhaul is coming and they are playing for a relic HC who has no idea what he is doing right now.
