Yet Hillary is still not in trouble for "wiping" her server...

This is another J6 committee red herring. They are trying to discredit the Secret Service before they testify and destroy one of their key witnesses.

US agencies temporarily barred from enforcing LGBTQ guidance

U.S. District Judge Charles Atchley Jr. in an order on Friday ruled for the 20 state attorneys general who sued last August claiming the Biden administration directives infringe on states’ right to enact laws that, for example, prevent students from participating in sports based on their gender identity or requiring schools and businesses to provide bathrooms and showers to accommodate transgender people.

The Biden administration in part took a stand against laws and proposals in a growing number of states that aim to forbid transgender girls from participating on female sports teams. The state attorneys general contend that the authority over such policies “properly belongs to Congress, the States, and the people.”

The education policy carried the possibility of federal sanctions against schools and colleges that fail to protect gay and transgender students.

Yeah TD. These people are hypocrites and liars. I'd bet you can find similar clips of Republicans doing the same. These are wretched people who don't give a shit about Americans. Only what keeps them in power and influence for their own financial gain.

I (like man others) keep saying it, but this is why its so critical for term limits.

If we had them in place, a large % of the corruption and massive waste we see today would immediately go away.

I'd support this 100%.

My opinion is eventually it will come down to this (and it works) or another Civil War.

A strong majority of Americans support holding a “Convention of States” to limit spending by the federal government and its overall power, according to new survey data.

Conducted by The Trafalgar Group, the poll is the latest example Americans’ lack of support for the economic policies of the federal government. The poll included 1,000 likely voters and was conducted in early July 2022.

The data revealed cross-party support for reining in the federal government’s spending and executive powers by ratifying Constitutional amendments proposed during a potential Convention of States. A Convention of States is a process outlined in the U.S. Constitution, which allows states to to propose amendments if more than two-thirds of the country, 34 states, convene. It then takes 38 states to ratify any proposed amendments.

A sizable 63.3 percent of Independent voters supported amendments “focusing on term limits for Congress and federal officials, federal spending restraints, and limiting the federal government to its constitutionally mandated authority.”

A stunning 50.2 percent of Democratic voters also supported the measures, with 25.6 percent opposing them and 24.2 percent unsure.

A whopping 81.3 percent of Republican voters supported holding a Convention of States to rein in federal government spending and power through amendments tackling the aforementioned issues.

“Voters in all parties know that—regardless of who is in power—Washington, DC is fundamentally broken and something dramatic has to be done to change the game. The deck is stacked against the American people, and these numbers show vast majorities agree its time to reboot the relationship between the federal government and the states,” said Mark Meckler, President of Convention of States Action.

“The founders saw this problem was inevitable, and inserted a provision into Article V of the Constitution to empower the states to return our Republic to its original design. Clearly, the public support is there across all demographics to make this happen.”

Convention of States language has passed 19 state legislatures in the United States since the campaign’s inception, which active legislation or the passing of legislation in one chamber in a further 17 states.

My pipe dream is to repeal the 16th amendment and end income taxes forever. Definitely outlaw any form of wealth tax.

Then a balanced budget amendment. This sounds difficult doesn't it? with no income or wealth taxes where will they get the money to burn the way they do? Exactly! Revenues would be generated by fees, tariffs, sales taxes, and other use taxes.

Then, term limits, which I never supported before because the people should choose their reps. But that process has been corrupted by the party machines - and some people are just too stupid to see the corruption that slaps them in the face every day.

Finally, we need national gun laws. No more states deciding their own gun control laws. The constitution should grant every citizen of the US the same right to keep and bear arms. What we have now is each state interpreting the 2nd amendment their own way. That is not how our rights are supposed to work.

I want to repeal the Amendment that allow Senators to be popularly elected and go back to Senators being appointed by the state Legislature.

I'm going with Justice Altio's statement in his dissent on the Bostock Decision:

"that discrimination because of sexual orientation does not inherently involve discrimination because of sex."

and

"it should be perfectly clear that Title VII does not reach discrimination because of sexual orientation or gender identity. If sex” in Title VII means biologically male or female, then discrimination because of sex means discrimination because the person in question is biologically male or biologically female, not because that person is sexually attracted to members of the same sex or identifies as a member of a particular gender."
