The Giants were an exception to the rule.
I am sure with your great perspective on talented teams that you saw as "championship caliber" those two Giant teams as true juggernauts (even the one in 2011 that gave up 400 pts for the season which was more than they scored offensively, still the only team in league history to do that and win a championship). Or maybe you predicted those injury ravaged 10-6 Green Bay (2010) or Eagles teams (underdog in all 3 postseason games). or the 10-6 Ravens in 2012.

The 2007 and 2009 Cowboys team were just as talented, if not far more talented than any of those teams. The difference as the damn coaching, anybody that can't see that is just blind or a dumbass.
Those are opinions you’re certainly entitled to . We certainly didn’t prove it on the field. I would agree coaching was a contributing factor but IMO those weren’t championship caliber teams.

I’m not going to take the bait with personal insults. It’s typical response when attempting to discredit the messenger. I’ll take the high road road sir !

The Giants likely won’t see the field until training camp. They have a second-year quarterback.

Yet, their offense isn’t going to look a lot like it did last season. Instead, it’s going to look more like the 2019 Dallas offense with former Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett now the Giants’ offensive coordinator.

“I think schematically the easiest way to describe [the offense] to the outside world right now is you know it’s going to be similarly based on what Jason’s done in Dallas,” Judge said via a conference call with beat reporters Tuesday, via Patricia Traina of SI.com. “There’s going to be some similarities, but it’s got to cater to the players we have on our roster.”

Judge stressed Garrett will tailor the offense to the team’s personnel, which includes quarterback Daniel Jones, running back Saquon Barkley, tight end Evan Engram and receivers Golden Tate and Sterling Shepard.

“It’s a collection of what Jason’s put together throughout his career,” Judge said. “There’s going to be similarities in some regards to Daniel. I can’t tell you concrete-wise what that’s going to be. But there’s a lot of ‘cousin concepts’ in every offense.”

In Garrett’s 13 seasons as the Cowboys’ offensive coordinator or head coach, Dallas ranked in the top seven in total yards seven times. They were No. 1 last season and ranked sixth in scoring.

The Giants ranked 23rd in total offense last season and 18th in scoring.

The verbiage in Garrett’s offense has similarities with Alabama’s, Judge said, as Garrett worked for Nick Saban for two years with the Dolphins.

“Once you work under somebody, you develop your style, but you borrow a lot from that person that you just left,” Judge said. “Whether it’s as simple as verbiage, terminology, you know, philosophies on route running, past protections, all those things there. I would say, there’s gonna be some similarities with Daniel, but I would not say there’s a carryover in any way, shape, or form from his rookie year.”

Shouldnt be hard for Giants players to learn a system with 6 plays, so no training camp wont impact them

Interesting we are the only team on the list that never saw a conference championship game or a super bowl, but #2 on the list overall. Tells us talent really wasn't the main problem.

Interesting the Pats, the team with the most SBs since '96 didn't make that PB list.

And I'd note several of the Boys' "talented" PB players were very well coached or would never have made a PB.
It's not like Austin or Romo weren't RFAs when they arrived.

I'm not saying we've had great coaches, far from it, but when the worst set of DTs in the NFL give up 270y on the ground in a playoff game ... it's on the FO

Exactly what I said in my next post after the one you just quoted.

Silly premise. Great talent comes through in spite of bad coaching, not because of it. Besides, all in all the position coaches we've had haven't been all bad, some of them even making excellent head coaches later on.

The point is, talent has not been the biggest problem in Dallas. dbair's "It's the coaching, stupid" summed it up exactly. FO? When you let a 2 time SB winning coach leave - for any reason - that tells you what you need to know about Jerry. Nobody's trying to deflect away from our FO foibles, quite the opposite. Jerry's hired all of the head coaches. No shit, huh?

It is. Exactly like that. They weren't RFAs they were UDFAs.

JJ's done that three time
s and you're talking about the coaches he hired to replace them as the problem?

the whole "premise" of the thread is the Boys have suffered from bad coaches who've handicapped great talent

the same owners and GMs that make dumb (weird) coaching moves make dumb (weird) player moves

Jerry's hired all of the head coaches. No shit, huh?

JJ ran the draft room too … huh?

We've had the player talent to win Super Bowls. Coaching has been the main reason it hasn't happened. Feckless owner hired the coaches.

You're arguing just to argue. And can't help coming off as simply stupid.

that's utter BS - the whole premise of "pro bowls equals talent" thread is silly

the '92 Cowboys had the #1 D and not one of the made the PB team, not one

a guy who picks Doomsday as a handle ought to know that,
are you one of them fantasy football types?

Nobody said that. You are now creating false points to argue against. Therefore showing you're dishonest as well as just stupid.

Yeah...it's what people do when they have nothing, are just plain stupid or have no answer. Make up your own argument like someone else said it and then argue against it......I don't necessarily blame him though. He's a product of our current education system.

There's an increasing percentage of the population who live in a fact-free world. Their "narrative" is substituted for fact. Anything not supporting their "narrative" is either ignored or simply substituted with a lie to then argue against. It's a growing problem.
