ex-patriot's view on the brown situation and how belichick is likely processing it:

p.s. belichick and the patriots are getting KILLED on sports talk radio here in new england. everybody (obviously) disagrees with signing brown and everyone says the patriots should cut ties immediately. the hosts of every show are upset the patriots even signed this guy to begin with.

but yet half of the people calling in are shit-for-brains patriots fans who are screaming for due process or outright condemning the victim. literally 1 week ago these same idiots were laughing at the raiders, calling brown a nutcase, and wanted nothing to do with him.

sounds about right

and when they win another SB. all will be forgotten & forgiven (just like we'd do here in Dallas if we ever won one again)

When asked if Jerry considered trying to get AB when he was released by the Raiders he said No and that he was happy with his receiving core

I buy the last part of that, but saying that the thought never crossed his mind is pure BS

You just know how much Jeruh would love all the publicity and attention

the pattern of behavior seemed to dramatically escalate in violence and indecency about 2-3 years ago. brown got knocked tf out by burfict in january 2016. lots of folks are making that connection and its not wrong.

or you could just call it what it most likely is, the guy was an asshole to begin with

But wait, there's more.......

Antonio Brown-chef dispute started over perceived fish head mob threat

What in the world is going on with Antonio Brown?

The Raiders star was absent from most of training camp, as he dealt with frostbitten feet and a helmet issue that has caused the Silver and Black a massive headache they didn't plan for.

But wait, there's more.

Brown is being sued by celebrity chef Stefano Tedeschi over an unpaid $38K bill when Tedeschi cooked for Brown at the 2018 Pro Bowl. Tedeschi claims Brown unlawfully terminated their agreement and then wouldn't let him back in the house to get his stuff.

So, what led to the latest off-field drama in AB's life?

According to Tedeschi, the whole incident started over a fish head.

No, you aren't reading The Onion.

Tedeschi told TMZ that after he cooked an elaborate salmon meal for Brown's party, he put the salmon head in the freezer to make stock with the next day.

Apparently Brown and his crew had been watching "Goodfellas" that night because Tedeschi says someone from Brown's crew found the fish head and thought it was a mob threat, so Brown fired him and wouldn't let him retrieve his things.

"So they saw that fish head at maybe two in the morning and must have been whacked out of their minds," Tedeschi told TMZ. "Somebody, 'Oh my God! The chef's pissed off! It's a bad sign. Oh this could be bad. He's Italian, he's from Pittsburgh, I know all about him. "

Tedeschi initially thought it was a joke, but they were dead serious.

"I said, 'Who could have possibly misunderstood a fish head in the freezer? Tell me, what person with intelligence could have misplaced a fish head for some mob, horse head?!'"

Who among us hasn't lost themselves in a mob movie and then believed someone who cooks their meals is out to get them? Of course, that normally happens with 40-year-old men living in their parents' basement not star NFL wide receivers, but hey, they're just like us.

Maybe AB wants to find a second career as a mob movie star and he was just getting into character? The Departed 2: Of Helmets, Fish Heads and Frostbite with Mark Wahlberg, Antonio Brown, Stefano Tedeschi, Roger Goodell, Jon Gruden and Mike Tomlin.

Who says no?

It's the text harassment of the latest accuser... Complete with Brown trying to get people to gang up on her. Last straw evidently.
