The #Rams traded with the #Titans for No. 1, source said

U beat me to the punch, so much for trying to get the Rams picks.

Looks like 2 QBs may go 1-2 eh?

You think it's possible the Niners knee jerk and draft Lynch at 7?

This opens up another set of trade scenarios though. If Tunsil is there at 4 and a team like the Giants wants to move up to get him what could they offer? Tampa is another team that could be interested in moving up for Tunsil. Do the Raiders have a solid LT?

They could move up themselves, but this is why I always thought Lynch might go top-10. It might mean if we really want Lynch we have to take him at 4 ourselves.

Chargers need OL help bad, its been a train wreck for them for past couple seasons, they might take Tunsil if he's there

That's definitely a possibility. They also need help on defense too. They are rumored to be very high on Buckner too. Or they could go with Ramsey.

They could also move down themselves. If Wentz and Goff go 1-2 now (as most expect) then if SF or Philly really wants Lynch, they might feel they have to move in front of us to get him.

There's also a report that says the Kapernick to Denver trade is a done deal again, pending the Niners being able to draft a QB 1st.

Connor Cook might end up being our only legit option, and I have serious doubts he makes it to our pick at 34.

As much as I would love one of the QB's I don't see them taking Lynch at 4. Why are the chances the Rams moved up to draft Wentz? Would the Browns still take Goff at 2 or would they opt for Ramsey?

If the Niners move up to 3 and take Lynch I'd be completely floored. All three QB's gone with the first three picks would be insane.

The Titans now have six of the top 76 picks in the draft: 15, 33, 43, 45, 64 and 76

Plus they have extra 1st and 3rd rd picks next year from this deal.

First thought when I woke up and heard this: I bet at least part of Jerry, maybe all of him, is relieved. Now he doesn't even have to worry about the pressure of taking or not taking a QB. I doubt he ever really wanted to anyway.

So if they stay at 4 I'd say it's pretty safe to say that Ramsey will be the pick. Unless the Chargers decide to take Ramsey at 3. If that happens do they take Bosa over Tunsil (assuming they can't find a trading partner for Tunsil at 4). Buckner over Tunsil? Or if they truly are going BPA and Ramsey is gone, do they take Tunsil?

As long as it isn't Bsa, I'm okay. Best case in that scenario is finding a trade down partner (not as likely now), but if no trade down, take Elliot.

I wouldn't be upset with Elliott at 4 at all.

I see absolutely ZERO, I mean ZERO value in us taking Tunsil. Colossal waste of resources if they do and would arguably be one of the dumbest draft decisions this franchise has ever made.

We already have a great OL. Drafting a guy that is only going to play RT with the 4th pick overall is monumental stupid and ignoring blatantly weak areas of the team elsewhere. It has nothing to do with him as a prospect, I'm sure he'll be a fine player. There are idiots at CZ are over there actually HOPING this happens. He is not going to improve the OL as a whole THAT much at RT to make the selection worthwhile. Yes he is eons better than Doug Free, but Doug Free alone didn't give up 50 sacks and 100 tackles for loss either. He isn't that much of a hole.

If they had not extended Tyron Smith (who is eons a better player than Tunsil right now) then I might could see some logic in taking Tunsil. Maybe you draft him with the idea that he goes to LT when Smith's contract was up, rather than paying him the boatload of money. But they already paid him.

I also don't care who else is available at 4. Tunsil is not THAT much better than whoever else would be available for us to make us ignore DL, DB or even LB or RB.

Why are you against Bosa? Does he get into the backfield too much or tackle QB's too hard for our preferred method of playing?

He was probably worried about "hurting Tony's feelings". Whereas he could sell Manziel as a publicity stunt and marketing ploy, drafting a guy at 4 the message would be "Tony we know you are about done" even though the rest of the organization is probably on the other side.
