Why is it every time you watch this team in pre-season you get this feeling of impending doom? The more this pre-season goes on, the more I start to think last season was an aberration......

I'm not a big fan of chicken legs McFadden and the under wear thief. I know I'm one of the few, but murrays loss will hurt us.

I do too, I like him a lot and think he's special and has the kind of mentality that helps a team plus he seems like a good guy and a team player

Having said that, I understand why they decided to reallocate resources to the D, the damn salary cap sucks when you have to lose a player like Murray but I think they had to let him go. I wish they could have signed Dez before the end of last season at better terms so they could have still gone after Hardy and then rented DeMarco for one year on the franchise tag just to see what the team could do if they kept the big three together for one more year

Makes me sick to see him in Philly

Hopefully this years team overall is better despite the loss of Murray

I see a rough start and can almost guarantee they'll lose the game in Philly. If they start slow against the Giants, they could start out 0-2 and the City of Dallas would be in melt down mode

Cowboys special teams has been horrible in this game. Special teams will be completely different for game 1.

Good thing about a game like this where you get your ass kicked, is it makes for good coaching points.

Vaughan has looked off tonight. I did like how that Hill kid ran.

Everyone needs to chill the fuck out. 3 OL starters out, Free starting on the left, of course the run wasn't going to look good. Dez out, Beaey out. This will be a very different team come week 1.

Horrid two weeks in a row. It's abysmal. What possibly indicates it will be any different once the games count?

My Likes: The defense only giving up field goals. Good QB pressure and some sacks, and again, the receptions contested and very little yards after catches allowed.

Dislikes: Pretty much everything else.

Cowboys special teams have been pretty good the last few years.
Has zilch to do with this year. However In those previous years' preseason, it never ever looked anywhere close to this horrid.

Reminds me of the idiot Campo in commentary tonight, saying they haven't had time to work on it. Newsflash - neither have any of the other teams. It's like saying the rain is messing up your offense, forgetting that the other team that is kicking your fucking ass is playing in the same rain.

The special teams look horrendous - punt coverage, kickoff coverage and the return teams too. There's no way to sugarcoat it.
Many of those players won’t be on the team.
That's not necessarily a indicator that the special teams will improve. The opponents who have been stomping our ass in this area? Many of their players who have been doing the ass stomping won't survive cuts either.

And ya know, they don't have to wait for fucking cut day to cut some of these fucks. Some early cuts might send a damn message that this special teams play is totally unacceptable.

I don’t know how you can know that. I think you are just being dramatic.

The tackling isn’t very good and i would throw the defense into that mix. I don’t think preseason is ever a great indication of what the special teams will look like during the season because the lineup hasn’t been set. How do you know if you don’t know what the team consists of? I’d like to see the tackling improve.

Funny how he says, "Has zilch to do with this year"; while claiming that THIS year's team is an "8-8 team to its core", based upon previous years. Contradicts himself much.
