I wouldn't call him a bozo. I'm sure that guy wanted Collins as much as the rest of us, but just didn't want to set himself up for heartbreak. We've all done that.

Collins was projected late 20s. I've seen Gregory as high as fifth pick to Washington.

It's hard not to get excited about 3 first rounders in the boring offseason.

From most of the mocks I've seen, he's been projected as a mid-teen to mid 20's pick. After losing out on Scherff, I think the Giants would have selected Collins over Flowers. IMO.

I don't care, I'm greedy so I'm hopeful but only on team friendly terms (i.e. no draft picks, perhaps I'd grudgingly give up a 4th since we have so many comp picks next year, and a team friendly contract)

I think Leary is often overlooked and underrated plus he is in a contract season. That said, if Collins is anything like Martin, then you cant keep him off the field. Could Free be the odd man out? Kindof an expensive backup.
