Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin is expected to sign with the Oakland Raiders Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Irvin played a versatile role in Pete Carroll's defense, lining up as an outside linebacker in base and moving to defensive end in nickel. Irvin had 22 sacks in four years, including 5.5 last season. He was originally a first-round pick (15th overall) in 2012.

DE Charles Johnson signed a 1-year deal worth $3 million to stay with the Panthers, per league source. He turned down twice that per year from other teams to stay in Carolina.

LOL McKelvin takes shot at Chip Kelly scheme:

New Eagles CB Leodis McKelvin intercepted a pass last season at the Linc. "They kept running the same play," McKelvin said.

Apparently the Cowboys are showing interest in Bilal Powell. I hope it's as a replacement for Dunbar.

Dont know if this is true, haven't seen it confirmed:

In other NFC East news, after reportedly being off, it appears the Maxwell/Alonso trade with Miami is back on. And what does Miami give up to take the Eagles' trash that they are desperately trying to dump after just one season? That's right................ the Dolphins will swap #1 picks with them giving the Eagles the 8th pick in the draft.

I think I read it is confirmed, but buried in one article I read it mentioned that the Eagles are also having to give the Dolphins some draft picks. Didn't say what or when those pick/s were though.
