Yeah, it's really embarrassing the way they try to act like that's why he sucks. How long should he need? Not like this offense is that complicated.

And the unis are crazy bright, but this color rush thing is almost growing on me. Why not have something different every once in a while. It does seem like kind of an admission by the league that they need some kind of gimmick to create interest in these Thursday games, though.

There is no need for gimmicks for Thursday nights. What they truly need is killer match ups that people actually want to see

And to be honest I feel that our Cowboy color rush jerseys were the only ones so far that weren't horrendously ugly. And that's only because they were all white and "not" a true color rush type jersey like all the rest of the teams

I hope we never wear them again. We should call them the "broken collarbone" jerseys!

Jeeeeezus those color rush jerseys are horrid

They looked like ketchup and mustard bottles..
They should have had the refs dress up in the Milwaukee Brewers sausage race costumes.

Everyone says and knows that our offense is predictable. Which we have proven all season to be an accurate statement

Now we are playing the jets who's HC/OC/DC are all former cowboy coaches

With nothing changing since Garret took over and likely nothing changing for this game even knowing that their entire coaching staff knows our plays and tendencies this looks to be a total train wreck!!!

Injured Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain won’t play against Jets

By Drew Davison

IRVING

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain has been ruled out for Saturday night’s game against the New York Jets.

McClain didn’t pass concussion protocol, leaving the Cowboys without their starting middle linebacker.

Cornerback Morris Claiborne (hamstring) is also unlikely to play, being listed as doubtful on the team’s injury report. Claiborne missed two games with a hamstring injury last month.

The McClain news, though, comes as somewhat of a surprise after coach Jason Garrett said Thursday he was “optimistic” that McClain could play.

McClain was kicked in the head by teammate Jeff Heath in Sunday’s loss at Green Bay, leaving the field for a few plays. But McClain passed the initial concussion tests on the sidelines and returned to the field, but then underwent additional concussion tests after the game.

Second-year pro Anthony Hitchens is likely to replace McClain in the starting lineup.

If Claiborne isn’t able to go, as expected, starting safety Byron Jones would likely slide to corner to start in his place. Jones, who started at corner when Claiborne missed the two games last month with a hamstring injury, has said he feels comfortable playing either position.

The rest of the injured players are listed as probable: wide receiver Dez Bryant (foot), safety Jeff Heath (shoulder), defensive tackle David Irving (back), defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence (chest) and linebacker Kyle Wilber (shoulder).

Quarterback Tony Romo (collarbone) is listed as out, as he has yet to be placed on injured reserve with the Cowboys still mathematically alive for a postseason berth.

Really hoping the amount of no shows is embarrassingly bad tonight and again against Wash in two weeks

That combined with the two more ugly home losses might be enough to finally end the reign of the red headed idiot

Ain't gonna happen
This will be Garret's first and only losing season and he has the luxury of blaming it all on the injuries

He is unfortunately safe for another year at least

Question of the day: Will the Cowboys score a TD tonight?

Jets defense ranks 5th in total yds, 10th in scoring, 12th in sacks, 5th in opposing QB rating and tied for 4th in takeaways

Another note of sorrow, not only do we rank dead last in turnovers gained (8, on pace for worst in NFL history), only 4 teams have turned it over MORE than we have. We also rank dead last in turnover ratio, at -15

Ryan Fitzpatrick has 25 touchdown passes this yr, a career high.

Cowboys as a team have a total of 22 touchdowns.

22 touchdowns as a TEAM in 13 games. Less than two a game. Only St Louis and San Fran have scored fewer pts than us this yr. And with a lousy game (likely) we can over take the Lambs for next to last.

Jets DT Muhammad Wilkerson is coming off double digit sacks for 2nd time in 3 years (career high 12 so far this yr) and is only 26. I think he is a UFA after the season. They might not franchise him after drafting Leonard Williams this yr and Sheldon Richardson 3yrs ago.

He'd look pretty good next to Tyrone Crawford, Gregory and Lawrence next yr. If it came down to spending big money to keep Hardy or sign Wilkerson, I'd sign Wilkerson in a heart beat and let Hardy walk.

journeyman Fitz was dogshit against us last year for 95% of the game. that's the only reason we stand a chance.

Agree, most of these games you can pretty well guess by who has the better QB, and Fitz isn't good at all. Marshall will probably outmuscle our DBs all day and I'm sure they'll be able to run the ball, but if we get a turnover or two, or a big special teams play, we could win this game.

Hope not, though.
