We currently have the 19th selection. If you're rooting for draft pick and not the playoffs, this is who you need to root for this weekend to improve our selection:

Pittsburgh @ Dallas
Tampa Bay @ New Orleans
New York Jets @ Tennessee
St. Louis @ Minnesota
Cincinatti @ Philadelphia

If that all occured, we'd be sitting with the 15th selection heading into week 16

I'm not even sure I really like this, but I like to do a lot of mocks and look at a lot of different guys.

Right now, I feel like the team will stand pat at S and RT. Guard and center are possibilities for an upgrade although I wouldn't be surprised to see them say "We've got Costa coming back and traded for Cook plus Bernadeau can play there......good enough"

1. Ezekiel Ansah, DE, BYU
2. Dallas Thomas, OT/OG, Tennessee
3. Montee Ball, RB, Wisconsin
4. John Simon, DE/OLB, Ohio State
5. Abry Jones, DT, Georgia
6. DeVonte Christopher, WR, Utah

I also have a feeling they are going to shortcut these positions and think that Jemrey Parnell is the answer at RT and healthy returns of Barry Church and Matt Johnson will be enough at S. I hope I'm wrong but I get the sense that is where we are headed.

As far as your mock goes, I pretty much like all of your picks. I don't know too much about Jones? Does he play DE for Georgia (3-4 defense) ? I've seen a bunch of Bulldog games but only noticed Jenkins and Geathers at NT. I'm not a huge fan of Simon but like his value in the 4th.

Simon looks like he might be limited physically, but has all the intangibles you could possibly want.

Jones was hurt in October. He might be back for Georgia's bowl game.

No to Woodhead. I'm fine with not bringing Ratliff and Free back. With Ratliff gone and Brent as well... maybe that'll force Jerry and Rayan to go after a true NT WITH SIZE, and abandon this undersized shit. Which leads me into...

I'd rather use the 3rd rounder on Daniel McCullers 6-6 377 lbs. DT.

Otherwise... not too bad of an offseason.

saw this earlier and thought 2 things:

1/ In the world of sensitive prima donna recruits, this would scare me as a coach/recruiter. I'd want him to take it down.

2/ I bet none of those players miss another workout.

I saw it even earlier
I'm assuming theyve been warned a few times he wasnt fucking around.
As a recruit it tells me they're serious about winning. I don't like them being thrown under the bus but its for the good of the team and future players

Russ Lande on twitter yesterday said he believed Mike Glennon would be the #1 overall pick in the draft.

That's coming out of nowhere, now isn't it?
