Veteran kickers are out there. Plenty of times kickers have been signed on fri and kick Sunday. Fuck his 62 yarder. Kickers need to be automatic inside 45 yards. He is not.
Often, his XPs are even ugly.

How many kickers are automatic inside 45 yards? How many of those have we missed this year vs. Bailey last year?

Veteran kickers available who can be automatic inside 45, can consistently get you touchbacks on kickoffs, but don't have a job for some reason?

Would it shock you to learn we have the 8th ranked kicker in the league? 7 out of 11 from 40-49 yards? Only missed one XP? Cutting him is just silliness.

Either could be problematic. Best case scenario would be the Vikings, but that's an extreme longshot at this point.

None are. The best in the league this year is 12-15 from 40-49 yards. Our guy is 7-11. Ranking tied at 6th best in that range. Out of 32. Employed kickers now, not counting all the unemployed ones you want.

Two of the three teams I dont wanna face you just named, the third would be Baltimore who we dont need to worry about. Saints, Rams and Bears dont scare me, though of those three I doubt they'd pull off a win in NO.

Can't say I didn't enjoy the game, and glad we hit 10 wins.
I'm not real convinced we could go to LA or NO and win, and that's me assuming we win the wild card game.
OTOH, if Garrett goes with an early playoff exit, I wouldn't mind that much.

Second year in a row I lose in WK 17 because Dallas wins a meaningless game. Absolutely insane that Dak played this entire game. Red must be punished for his arrogance. Go Seattle.

Anyway, congrats to Dooms, who deserved to win based on the Saints game alone.

Yeah, Nawlins will be primed for us after what we did to them, and they'll be coached up and ready for it if we bring kamakze again.

I predicted Philly would get better, immediately upon learning Wetz was done. Dbair called me insane or some other such shit. What he and many don't seem to see is, Wetz really doesn't elevate the play of other guys. There's a chemistry problem there for whatever reason. Foles, they rally around and he inspires. They fucking try harder, they elevate their level of play when he is leading them.

Chemistry matters and it matters a lot.
