Feels like we’re screwed, it’s my understanding that what’s rare about these minerals is not the minerals themselves, but the ability to process them. It seems it couldn’t come at a worse time when power demands are at an all-time high and growing by the day. We should’ve been building small nuclear facilities across the country with newer technology, etc but our hands are tied in fear, bureaucracy, red tape, and a cult like resistance to nuclear power
I can’t even get the city attorney to sign a piece of paper within four months and counting so I can’t imagine how hard it would be to get a permit to build a nuclear power plant
