Why didn't that apply to last year? He was playing for a contract then, too.

There's a difference in playing for a contract as a BACKUP, then going somewhere else and playing as the starter. Would you agree that he stands a greater chance of making more money after this season if he plays well starting, than he would being limited behind Witten?

Well you suggested he was somehow trying harder because he was playing for a contract. Which he was last year.

I think the question is, was he "limited" because he couldn't play, or was he limited by the offense and/or coaches.

I've noticed that other teams seem to be able to get more than one TE to produce.

Oh.

Forgot.

It's Garret's fault.

Tom coughlin, mike pope and Kevin Gilbride definitely would throw the all to Marty b who could never get lined up in 4 seasons here over Jason witten.

Makes perfect sense.

the league average is like 28 ppg. The Laurent robinsons and Martelleus Bennetts will stumble into scores if they get Playing time

Bennett just ran a terrible route.

Everybody backtrack,

Garrett is good and mike pope is bad.

Yes I did. Because I think that he is playing harder because now he is the starter. That's one hurdle cleared. Now he is playing for the big pay day. Don't get me wrong, I think that once he gets paid, he will revert back to the Martellius Bennett that we have come to know and love.

lol

Garrett family apologists tripping all over their own feet in this thread, and it was just for fun in the first place.
