Dez gone likely 6 weeks.

Hardy not playing until week 5.

Gregory out 4 to six weeks.

We we're 12-4 without Hardy and Gregory last year, but still. Those two are being counted on this year.

Our upcoming opponents are:

@ Philly (them coming off a short week)
Atlanta
@ New Orleans (they look bad)
New England
BYE
@ New York Giants
Seattle
Philly

Good news is, we play most of our "hard" games at home.

I'll hope last night was a fluke, with how poorly prepared we were, and that we get firing on all cylinders in the coming weeks. Hard to predict the Eagles games having not seen Bradford play, but I'll say we split them to be conservative. Should beat Atlanta and New Orleans. And I'd say the Giants too.

I say 5-3 is attainable.

4-4 would not be unrealistic.

Dez coming back, plus Gregory, Hardy, and McClain fully adjusted for the last half of the season.

I don’t think the Cowboys were poorly prepared. They need to stop turning the ball over and score touchdowns instead of settling for field goals. Defense looked solid and OMG the horrible special teams looked pretty damn good. Next week won’t be a good gauge either, division games are different animals. Tonight will be interesting to see what Philly is. My guess is they are going to be a thorn in the Cowboys side again. They have a great offensive line and some big boys on the d-line.

We just let a 6-10 team full of injuries to critical players come into our house on opening night, and we kept them in the game and almost literally gave them the game.

But yeah everlasting, I totes agree we were prepared and well coached in this game!!! Go cowboys!!!!!11111

The Cowboys had months to prepare (so did the Giants). They moved the ball pretty easily. They didn’t look confused, either on offense or defense. Nothing really surprised them, Romo was one step ahead of the Giants on every play. Giants hardly did shit on offense. The game was pretty simple to analyze. You actually watched the game i assume? Too many turnovers. Too many dropped passes. Got field goals instead of touchdowns.

BTW, you don’t know what the Giants are. Either way, they usually play the Cowboys tough. Last season the games weren’t decided until the 4th quarter. I didn’t like the first challenge, but other than that i thought Garrett did a good job.

Based on what we saw last night and our injury/suspension situation I'd say 4-4 or 5-3 is probably the best we can realistically hope for.

We were missing quite a few key guys as well after we essentially lost three starters to injury in one half+

I'd take this in a heartbeat.
I hope we are able to take the ass whipping we get from New England in stride and just move on.

Eagles not looking like world beaters at all tonight. Atlanta didn't get the memo that the Eagles are badassed now, and stuff.

It's almost as if Tom Landry was right when he said, "The other teams pay their players too."
