Ok. So he lies about the draft.

Hence why he would lie about the current OL.

Put 2 and 2 together pal.

You want to bet we take an OL in the first 2 rounds?

I could easily see a defensive lineman and a safety in the first two rounds. Very easy.

He was just talking up trash like Ronald Leary, even after he did not play a down of real football.

If that is a smokescreen, it is laughable that anyone in the league would fall for it, which is exactly why I do not think he's intentionally trying to mislead anyone.

Just so happens to be draft season in case you didn't know

Draft season is where Jones is at his most transparent, in case you have not realized over the past few years.

That is why he is so weak as a general manager.

The only recent 1st rounder people pegged was Dez. And we still had to get lucky for that. Everyone wanted Smith. Nobody thought Jerry would take him

Carpenter. Ware. Felix Jones.

I mean nobody saw those coming with the smokescreens Jerry Jones was putting out.

He's just too crafty for us.

All the pundits had the Cowboys taking either Amukamara or J.J. Watt. It wasn't until Garrett went to Smith's Pro Day, before it was settled that the Cowboys were taking Smith.

He said recent. And sorry, nobody knew that the Cowboys were taking Ware. Merrimen was the one pegged for the Cowboys. And if Parcells had his way, we would have taken Spears with our first 1st rounder.

Way to completely CHANGE the argument.

Lolol, I guess when you lose one argument, change it altogether and try and win a different one.

Jerry also said we weren't going to trade for Roy Williams

Guess you lost this one too

This guy talkin about winning an argument on the internet?

Brehs, is this real life?

I think Jerry's biggest problem is that he fears the unknown. Which why he's reluctant to get rid of guys like Ratliff, Spencer and Austin. He knows what they are capable of and doesn't want that leaving the organization; that their leaving means there is this gaping hole that is going to be impossible to fill, and that would disrupt the team being one or two players away from competing for something.
I think so too. Plus, if it's a guy he drafted or found and not a trade, then in his mind it looks better if he gets to keep him. See, this guy was worthy of a second contract, I really can find talent!

But I do think Jerry lies this time of year especially. Not putting stock in anything he says right now about the draft. (Though it might be true they don't want to use a first rounder on a guard.)

And I do hope that bit from Broaddus about the lack of a running game when Murray was hurt isn't true. There's no way they can think the blocking wasn't the problem. Teams run the ball decently enough with JAG RBs all the time.
