He just hasn't had enough snaps yet against some first or second team defenses for us to know where he is. In fact he hasn't had any.

Vaughan is a Div. 2 QB who only ever played in a air raid offense vs. Div 2 talent. He hasn't had time to adjust to the speed of the pro game, where the passing windows close much faster. Even in college, he had a tendency to take too many sacks - but I'll take that if it means protecting the ball, which is one of his fortes.

No way do I have him at #2 yet especially with all the work with 1st and second teams I've invested in Weeden.

You throw that kid to the wolves if Romo goes down and you might lose the kid.

BUT.... Yeah if Romo is IR for the season I think you have very little patience with Weeden and bring Vaughan on alot faster than you would like. So, it does depend on the extent of Romo's injury, as bbgun was saying.
