I've mentioned it here in this forum before but I dated a lady for a few months once who immigrated here from China and her parents went through the Communist revolution there. They were a normal middle class family and they were taken away and imprisoned, and all their belongings/money/home seized by the state. She didnt see her parents for 3+ years and their family didnt even know if they were alive.

I know 3 or 4 people who left Eastern Europe or the USSR to come to America and every one of them not only espouses the dangers of communism, but also says what they see in the US they have seen before in the communist countries they left.

I mention it every chance I get but Orwell's 1984 was about socialism and what it does to a society. Do we not see this now? Curbing speech? Check. Changing history. check. rigging elections. double check. of course the call for taking over industries are growing louder and more prevalent too.

But the American liberals is smarter than anyone who has ever lived and they know when they implement communism in America they will be the first to get it right!

I have a feeling this housing bill is just another money grab and a chance to graft more money from the federal treasury. Politicians love this low cost housing nonsense, but it is just another hoax perpetrated on the American people. The only ones to benefit from this stuff are connected developers who will make millions and donate some of it to the politicians who help them with their scams.

I find it somewhat unbelievable that it's been two years and there's been nothing new disclosed about this shooter, his family (who seemingly have disappeared), all the cell phone data etc etc.

And one year after murdering Charlie Kirk in broad daylight, they still haven't brought that shooter to justice despite overwhelming amounts of evidence, an admission of guilt, DNA evidence etc etc

The wheels of justice turn slowly in this country. It is one reason the death penalty is not as effective as if could be. It takes years to convict someone of a murder, then years for appeals of the verdict, then years of appeals of the sentence. It often takes 20 years or more to actually put a killer to death and often the killers just die in prison. For the DP to be effective, I think it has to be administered quickly.


In any case, Kirk's killer just had a preliminary hearing to determine if there is enough evidence to try him. That's the process in Utah. He will go to trial, but I am sure before he does his lawyers will file all kinds of motions to suppress evidence, change venue, etc. This is just to stall for time. I have a feeling Tyler Robinson will eventually cop a plea to avoid a death sentence. The evidence in his case, despite what Candace Owens is blathering on about, is overwhelming.
