I agree 100% but I think Vance was trying to look like a moderate personality in contrast with Trump.

This is a mistake many Republicans make. Even Trump in his first term tried to deal with Schumer and Pelosi and he got burned. Democrats are out for blood and Republicans should never forget that.

Why do we coddle France and Germany when they have been far worse allies than Meloni and Italy? Meloni is one of the better leaders in Europe from a US conservative point of view. Of course, she, like Trump, will do what is in the best interests of her country, just as France, Britain, and Germany have been doing.

And frankly, not everyone in the US supports his war with Iran, which I still think he has failed to explained fully.

With regard to Iran, war with that country has much greater risks for Europe than the US. Since my previous post was in reference to her denial to allow US planes to fly combat missions from Italian bases.

The immigration issue in Europe is a separate issue, and one that is more rooted in EU policy than that of individual countries.
