Dodger12 , Doomsday and/or anyone else

I'm a horrible voter and dont have time to even know who is running for primaries in Texas, the only people I'm semi-knowledgeable of and plan to vote for are Greg Abbott, Ken Paxton and Aaron Reitz but I have almost no clue who the rest of the bunch are except Wesley Hunt who seems like a good dude but it sounds like Paxton may be better equipped to fight the dems, etc. I'm slightly familiar with Chip Roy and seem to recall him saying something that made some sense but It seems Ive heard people slam him too so I really dont know

found this as a recommended way to vote but I sadly dont have a clue:

Anyone have any thoughts on the best candidates for this primary as well as thoughts on primaries in general?

Did everyone here vote in republican primaries?

here's a link to the ballot in case anyone wants to check it out

I am not from Texas and I usually prefer candidates who are better on the issues I find most important. But given the circumstances in the senate today, I think it is far more important now that Republicans vote for the candidates best suited to win and add numbers to the senate majority. I am not advocating voting for RINOs unless they come from deep blue states and there only chance to win is to look acceptable to moderates in those states. But I am saying to vote for candidates who are less poisonous at the state level. We put up guys like Roy Moore and he gets trounced because he look extreme and polarizing. Cornyn is done and needs to go. But I wonder if Ken Paxton can actually win the election against a candidate who looks moderate and easy-going. I think Talarico is someone trying to play that part. I think he is a fraud, like Beto, but against someone like Ken Paxton who apparently has enemies in his own party, Talarico might be able to pull off a W.

Texas is it for the Republicans. Losing it to Democrats would be the equivalent of Democrats losing California. It is a must win state and we need a candidate who can win against what I think will be the most expensive senate race in history.

Dems were apparently celebrating until they found out Mullin might be even more hardcore on deportations than Noem was.
