Here's this fucking twit going on CNN apologizing for the exact same behavior she's gladly taken part in for the last 2-3 weeks.

Again, this all stems from Trump refusing to endorse her for a Senate run which many of her own supporters told her she couldn't win anyway.

She is going to Jeff Flake out on us and that will be the end of her career. Democrats will give her a lot of attention as long as she is fight with Trump but once she is irrelevant they will drop her like a hot coal.

She is right.

The problem is not the filibuster rule which makes sense to me. We do not want to make it easy to change laws and impose new regulations on citizens. Even with the filibuster we have an onerous burden of laws imposed on the people. It is like a house being painted constantly until it collapses from the weight of all the paint!

The problem we are faced with is a corrupt government and two corrupt parties - all the more reason to have the filibuster. When the filibuster is used to restore the principles of good government it may seem like a good idea to end the filibuster. To make the problem worse, we have corrupt voter bases, particularly Democrat voters who would rather destroy the Republic than allow the other party to win.

The reason the ending the filibuster is pointless now is that Democrats will undo whatever Republicans do now if they end the filibuster. Republicans will pass voter ID laws and Democrats will repeal those laws the next time they have a majority. Democrat voters will not punish Democrats for such unAmerican values.

My concern with ending the filibuster is every 4 years assuming we switch party majorities, laws will come and go and the result will be legislative chaos. The focus will be on undoing that was done and not doing what needs to be done.

The people are least harmed when Congress does nothing.
