I've never understood the noise with the Air Traffic Controllers the last month. I mean, why are they different from other federal workers? I've been part of several shutdowns and essential workers were basically told they had to work and everyone I know did so with the understanding that they would get back pay.

Trump is right. Fuck the finicky slugs who took time off and good on Trump for giving those that worked a 10k bonus.

you wait and see...libtard judge: "you cannot give people that worked 10k and leave out lazy whining fucktards who didnt"

Trump won't do it in the traditional sense. Federal agencies get allocated money for yearly bonuses. Agency management can allocate those funds as they see fit. 10k is a bit high but I've seen 6k bonuses to top notch workers.

Maybe the BBC would be better if they made it British again! This from an English blogger:
In short order, these two departees will be replaced and it will be business as usual and the crisis dies down and the legacy media go back to sleep. But the nub of it is that, from the school of “things can only get worse”, the replacements can hardly get better.

Consider for a moment that the chair of the BBC Board is Samir Shah, born in Aurangabad, India. His half-brother, with whom he shares the same mother, is Mohit Bakaya. As of 2024, Bakaya is controller of BBC Radio 4.

The chief people officer of the BBC is Uzair Qadeer, responsible for overseeing the “end-to-end human resources capabilities across the BBC Group” and responsible for “shaping and driving the BBC’s people strategy, cultural transformation, and organisational change”. Qadeer was born in Lahore, Pakistan and was educated in the United States.

Under him is Irene Asare, Global HR Director for BBC News. She is Ghanaian and was born in Agona Swedru, a town in the Central Region of Ghana. Here early education was at Swedru School of Business, and career and her main experience is in working for Ghanaian industries in the telecommunications and oil and gas fields.

Something weird is going on. Recently I have seen a few allegedly right-wing blue checks on X complaining about Trump. Most of then start with something like, "I voted for <fill in the blank> and I am not getting it". Subjects range from the cost of housing to not seeing enough deportations to H1b visas to not arresting Jan 6 prosecutors fast enough. I understand why some people might be unhappy about some of these things, but when I see multiple folks posting the same stuff simultaneously I never think it is a coincidence. Either there is money behind it, or it is orchestrated for another purpose.

Trump announced something about 50 year mortgages to lower housing costs. People are going crazy claiming it makes them a slave or something else. But no one is mandating 50 year mortgages. They can still get 15 or 30 year terms if they choose. The 50 year will lower monthly expenses making homes more affordable. Most people never pay off their 30 year mortgages before they move so what is the difference? Trump has no control over property taxes and he is trying to get interest rates down. There isn't much else he can do.

I saw one character complaining we can't even deport that Abrego dude who has actually been deported multiple times and had his deportation overturned by liberal judges. How is that Trump's fault.

But my question is why does this look like a trend? Why now? Is this the start of the 2026 election season already?
