This is a little dishonest scheme Democrats are playing. The fact is illegal immigrants do not get insurance benefits directly. They go ingot hospitals, emergency care centers and other providers set up specifically to provide them with health care, without insurance. When they don't pay for their medical bills, the providers get reimbursed by Medicare/Medicaid. In other words, the rest of us pay their medical bills. Hospitals are required to treat these people if them come in as emergencies. But not reimbursing the hospitals, the hospitals will have to raise prices for everyone else, which in turn will drive up the costs to all of our insurance providers. That will get passed along to us.

There is only one answer for this problem and it is not to continue reimbursing for illegals' medical care. The solution is to close the border and deport illegals who are a financial burden on our system.

And by the way, there is another option, let the states reimburse these expenses if they choose. California, NY and other blue states that declared themselves sanctuary states will be most affected because they allowed illegals to settle in their jurisdictions and they passed laws allowing them to use medical providers in the states for free.

The problem with health care costs in America is way more complex than everyone wants to make it. Blaming oligarchs, or big pharma is too simple. But like most problems in America, they never get solved because if the solution isn't a 15 second sound bite we ignore it.

But I will say this. In 2023 Medicaid cost $894 billion. About $617 billion of that was paid for by the federal government. The states picked up the rest. Medicare cost another $848 billion. Keep in mind Medicaid is for the poor, and Medicare is for the elderly. Imagine what the cost of healthcare for everyone would be.

I don't have an answer how to solve the problem, but I do believe it needs a deeper dive and every possible action to lower costs should be taken, including deporting illegal aliens that get billions in free healthcare that drives up the costs for the rest of us.

It is unbelievable to me that Democrats can make this attack on Trump after everything they did to Trump. They pretend it never happened. The Russia hoax was only 1 of many cases they brought against Trump and his admin. Peter Navarro when to prison. Steve Bannon went to prison. George Papadopoulos went to prison. Over 1000 J6 protesters went to prison some for 20 years due to Democrats abuse of the legal system.

And remember, some of those cases are not over yet. How much has Trump spent defending himself from the E Jean Caroll lawsuit, which would never make it to court is it was anyone else but Trump. The Letitia James lawsuit, and the criminal conviction by Alvin Bragg for nonsense. Even the NY appeals court thought the Letitia James case was illegitimate.

If there was a conspiracy, and I think there was, then all of these Democrats need to go to prison. Their attacks on Trump were an attack on our Democracy. What they tried to do was far worse than the Trump team contesting an election - for which they were indicted and are still awaiting prosecution.

So to all Democrats claiming partisan prosecutions, F you! You made the bed now it is your turn to lie down in it.
