It is a cesspool of corruption. Unfortunately, this is a mess that we and NATO created by overthrowing their government. If NATO stepped away, I bet we would too. So Trump's only option is to stay with NATO or back out. If I'm correct, he said that we'd supply arms and NATO would pay but then NATO came out and said they wouldn't fund it so I'm not sure where all this will go anyway.

Trump is about to open a mega can of whoop ass on WSJ and FOX News/Murdoch

Media has a lot of leeway when it comes to publishing stories like this so Trump will need to prove malice, which is really hard to do.

But at the same time, how low did the WSJ have to lower their standards to publish an article about a letter they do not have, and cannot prove its authenticity? If Trump can show the only reason to publish a story so weak in corroboration was to slander him he may have a chance at winning this. On the other hand, he is a political figure and the courts have been lenient as far as media taking shots at public figures.

My guess is Trump wants another settlement so he can declare victory and the WSJ may want to avoid a drawn out legal care and the discovery that goes with it. Trump will ask for sources, something the WSJ cannot provide.

No wonder some in MSM were attacking her with "it's time to fire Tulsi Gabbard" in the last 24 hours or so.

This is so much more important than Epstein it is not even funny. And yet some MAGA influencers are claiming this is nothing compared to releasing the Epstein files. I don't expect perp walks but I do want the full truth to be exposed along with those who were behind this attempted coup. Remember, these are the same people that called Jan 6 and insurrection.

He didn't flip flop on Ukraine. He legitimately tried to bring that war to an end but Putin was too far gone to reverse course. Trump called it correctly....this is Biden's war and he's left to play the shitty hand he's been dealt. Unfortunately, he's doing what he must at this point and is also keeping NATO intact. Putin will come to the table but he needs to see Trump means business.

Remember this about Trump. Before he negotiates deals, he always finds a position of strength to deal from. That's why he put up tariffs before negotiating trade deals, and it is why he chose to send massive weapons shipments to Ukraine after Putin flip-flopped on his peace deal. Trump is showing Putin he is willing to back Ukraine to the hilt if Putin does not negotiate in earnest.

If I understand this correctly, the DoD hired Microsoft who then hired Chinese engineers. If so I would fire Microsoft immediately. My first question is why outsource any of this in the first place?
You and I know the answer to this

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a scathing legal memo July 14, condemning a federal judge’s decision to temporarily block the Trump administration’s one-year ban on taxpayer dollars going to Planned Parenthood.

“Simply put, Planned Parenthood has no right to taxpayer money, and this Court should not invent such a right,” HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wrote in the memo. “The Court should uphold Congress’s lawful exercise of its authority to decide to whom it will entrust taxpayers’ hard-earned dollars.”

The funding freeze is part of President Donald Trump’s recently passed “Big Beautiful Bill.” It bars abortion facilities from receiving Medicaid reimbursements for one year.

On July 7, US District Judge Indira Talwani issued a 14-day restraining order on the measure just hours after Planned Parenthood filed suit. The abortion provider claimed the freeze violated its First Amendment rights.

Four days later, Talwani amended the order after the administration asked the court to dissolve it, again siding with Planned Parenthood. In her amended ruling, she wrote that Planned Parenthood is likely to succeed in its constitutional challenge.
