Trades could be moving up from 12, moving down from 20. Maybe just middle to late rd picks. Maybe they swap a pick or two for veteran defensive player help.

Or no trades. Jerry and Spawn sit on their hands and settle for what we have as-is.

The trade that makes sense for us if they move up from 12.

If the Chiefs stay at 9 (rumored that they are wanting to move up now too) then 12 and 20 to Chiefs for 9, 29 and a 4th or 5th rd pick.

Points chart is a near wash in that scenario. We get to leapfrog Giants and Fish and ensure we get one of the top defensive players.

The only way to win the draft is to have more picks, because it's a crap-shoot. The more lottery tickets, the better chance of hitting on one. In years past, we've gone two consecutive rounds without having a pick, watching player after player go off the board. If a slight trade down can net us a 2nd rounder Friday night, do it.

If 1975 was the Dirty Dozen, 2009 was the Douchebag Dozen.

12 picks, and not one of them amounted to anything.

LB Jason Williams (who Wade famously said he got up on the table for), OG Robert Brewster, QB Stephen McGee, DE Brandon Williams, LB Victor Butler, DB Deangelo Smith, DB Michael Hamlin, K David Buehler, DB Stephen Hodge, TE John Phillips, DB Mike Mickens, WR Manual Johnson

Truly one of the biggest fails in franchise history (this was the yr we didn't have a 1st rd pick because of the Roy Williams trade with Detroit)

I would let the draft come to me. No panic. There are lots of good second and third rounders that can really help us. We need numbers and quality players. Please please do not draft any injured players early. It’s okay to take a late round flyer on a quality player who has dropped due to injury….just no early picks.
