I doubt Jerry remembers his own name most days.
What he stated the other day was not true, they didnt offer Parsons and a 1st for QW. He was confused, as always.

Well he's not wrong as none of what he said in that clip is untrue. This was the rationale some of us had as well. IF they made the right acquisitions afterward, it could potentially be a great trade for us.
Ultimately it's a 5 for 1 deal. We know what we have in Q Williams and Clark. QW is a great player and Clark is a quality starter. If Downs ends up being what almost everyone (other than BB) believes, these 3 pieces alone make the trade a win for us. Plus we have two other 4th rd picks on defense in CB Devin Moore and DL LT Overton. 5 defensive players to replace 1. It has a chance to be team altering for several years to come, but we need to see how it pans out.
