One of the big lies of that era was Democrats calling the Vietnam War, "Nixon's War". The truth is it was Johnson's war from the beginning. Nixon tried, and finally succeeded, to end US involvement in the war, and Nixon ended the military draft. This is an example of how Democrats have tried to rewrite history.
