Is it helpful to call these numbers if you live in another state or will they only listen if they’re your representative?

I'm not sure, I have heard opinions for both ways.

Some have said they only care about hearing from their actual voting constituents but with so many people having out of town cell phone numbers now, perhaps they cannot simply "ignore" those calls as they don't really know if they are a resident of their area or not. I think way back when that was prob the norm when most people called from landlines or when cell phones first started becoming common place.
